Yea I was on Twitter last night and half agree it should be 4k while many others are trying to justify it being 1080p and saying they don’t care. To me it’s just a huge head scratcher because it’s the strongest console yet the UI being in 1080p makes no sense to me at all and yes I can tell the difference. Even on my PS4 pro I instantly noticed it was a lot sharper right away. Hopefully this pushes them to do it. If it stays 1080p it won’t stop me from me from buying it but will be a bit disappointing to me at least.

So it looks like Xbox will get a 4k update after all.

The UI being 1080 or 4k makes zero difference to me.

So it just gives me anxiety about it.

Where did you preorder from? I just checked my Amex and realized Best Buy charged me on the 9/22 for my Xbox and 9/16 for my ps5.

Walmart. I went back and checked and I haven't been charged anything. So hopefully it's just because they don't do the charge until it ships. I haven't gotten any other emails from them other than my order being confirmed.

You’ll be fine. Amazon is the same way. They charge when they ship.

This is what i didnt like I wasn’t charged yet from amazon or walmart. I hate that. But my worries went to the side when i talk to walmart twice about the pre order. Amazon i did the ssd and the play and charge kit so I’m hoping they take this money cuz it’s annoying trying to remember how much i really have and not f things up lol

Saw the Gears 5 pictures last night and yeah, they look insane. Now, the PC version is NOT optimized and at worse, the Xbox Series X version would literally be right behind the 3090. But as of now, looking better by far is one hell of an accomplishment and gives the Xbox Series X an even brighter future than what it already has.

Because of this, im even more hyped to play Watch Dogs Legion on Xbox Series X because it has Ray Tracing in the game. Oh man. Can't wait!!!

It's crazy it can even come that close to the 3090. I didn't expect that at all.

Like Peter said, it's not optimized. But damn. This machine is something else.

Please, Walmart don't let me down.

The PC version is going to get the update that comes with Series X as per the devs and it will be the best version if playing with a 3080 or 3090 card due to the superior FPS

But the series X is a beast of a machine that people are kinda sleeping on and will learn soon enough the power advantages it has

Don’t be fooled, that screenshot is a next gen update on console vs the old gen PC version. There’s several settings that are different. The power is definitely not near the 3090 but the games should look very similar which is a great thing for console gamers in my opinion, big win for everyone.

Nobody thinks it is close to a 3090 but the series X is showing the power behind it which people keep forgetting because of SSD talk and nonsense that has no bearing on true reason for advantages, better specs

He stated he was surprised how close it came to a 3090 and I stated it was comparing a next gen technical showcase to a current gen counterpart. Not quite the fair comparison. I’m confused where anyone said either next gen console was weak.. but that photo trying to compare it to a 3090 is just laughable and why I chimed in on that screenshot. I also stated it would both look fantastic which is a win for everyone who games.

At this point, I wish I could fast forward the next three weeks. Will be playing Watch Dogs Legion first and while im disappointed there's no 60FPS option as far as I know, im looking forward to seeing how the Ray Tracing is on Xbox Series X when playing the game.
