3d audio not better then Dolby Atmos

Haptic triggers are nice but Xbox one has had triggers that can provide features in games and it will be used more this gen on series x.

PS5 at the moment has better exclusives that is not a debate

What the hell is going on? How are so many people who ordered from Walmart already getting the system. Over the last couple days I've seen people talking about getting it like crazy.

Over on Reddit, tons of people who ordered from Walmart got it yesterday or today. And most say they haven't even been charged for it and that it still says preparing order on the website. WTF?

Mine still says by the 12th. I never get lucky with this stuff.

I mentioned before I tried to buy a PS4 and the first one was broken, the second one was never shipped, and I ordered one a week and a half ago on ebay and it's been lost in the mail. I can't catch a damn break man.

GameStop is offering $200 trade in value for each console if you put it towards Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 so you can get both for $600 out of pocket (plus tax) if you're willing to trade them in. Of course, GameStop having either console at release or shortly thereafter is 50/50 at best.

Other than that, it depends on your own personal preferences.

I actually have an OG Xbox One, X1X, and PS4 Pro currently and would get the Digi PS5, so itd be even less than 600... Unfortunately im a college student working as a server in Cook County Illinois, so money isn’t exactly something I have an abundance of rn thanks to COVID. But ill keep that in mind though, thank you!

In that case, you could always trade in the PS4 Pro and buy the PS5 Digital Edition which would be $200 out of pocket and wait until you have the money to buy a Series X. That would be the cheapest option unless you want to go for the Xbox Series S. You could get $100 for the original Xbox One. You do have a few options. If anything, getting the console at launch or shortly thereafter would probably be the biggest issue.

Since you have the Xbox One X, you could always trade the PS4 Pro and Xbox One 2013 towards the PS5 Digital. I'm not 100% sure if the trade in values stack but I would imagine that they do. If they do, you could trade in all 3 for Series X which would cost you nothing out of pocket. Obviously up to you. Look into it and see what the best option is for you. And you're welcome.

My Amazon order still says that it will be arriving by 8pm on the 10th but no shipment yet

But there is a local Amazon fulfillment center near me so am thinking it will ship tomorrow morning and be delivered Tuesday

Same for me. I assumed by now I would see a charge and it would be preparing to ship. I think I also have a fulfillment not too far from me.

Ok so some serious issues are possible with both ps5 and series x that I hope can be answered quickly.

I just got done watching Digital Foundry video about the U.I on PS5, they did not do one for series x because they claim it looks very similar which is dumb because we want to know the new features of it and settings.

Well on PS5 video review of the PS5 Richard says that PS5 is limited to 4k 120hz at YUV 442 HDR and not FULL RGB 444 which is what it should be for the best HDR performance and which is why we wanted HDMI 2.1 as it has more bandwidth which ps4 pro and xbox one x did not have.

Richard then says that there is no VRR on PS5 and no ALLM which stands for Auto Low Latency Mode that when you turn on the PS5 or Series X it should automatically engage the lowest input lag settings on the tv and when you come out of the game it can go back to your normal calibrated for tv settings if you want to watch blu rays or apps.

Xbox one x had that feature because Xbox one x had a couple of hdmi 2.1 features and ps4 pro did not. But many bought new hdmi 2.1 sets to get that benefit and seeing ps5 not provide that is highly disappointing. I cannot verify anywhere if is the same for series x which is possible. I would have just kept my old OLED if that was going to be the case for consoles.

I'm thinking that if it doesn't charge us or ship by tomorrow then maybe a little nervous. It does say by the 12th, so it may not ship until Tuesday. Which would suck, but at least we would get it this coming week.

Were you able to get on FedEx and check to see if there was a shipment scheduled for you? Mine says it would be coming from Louisville KY. I live in Northeast Ohio, so for me it could get here in a day.
