I've been on the fence of buying Trek to Yomi, so I'm pumped.

      25% PS+ (all 3 tiers) until June 12th.

Even though I'm very picky about the games I play I got my $ worth out of it last year. Basically the price of buying 3 games used.

The 2nd tier is definitely a good value. I bought a year's worth of the top tier and felt like the difference was pointless to me.

I agree. I only upgraded to Premium last year when it costed $8 for the duration of the subscription. Even then, it didn't feel worthwhile. The benefits of Premium are Classic Catalog, Game Trials, and Cloud Streaming. For me, I wouldn't use Cloud Streaming and I don't have a need for Game Trials. The only Classic games I would be interested in would be remastered games/bundles. They don't have too many remastered games going to the Classic Catalog often.

Even now, it would only cost $6.94 to upgrade to Premium for the remaining 169 days of subscription. Even then, I don't see a reason too. For me, they need to add extra incentives to have Premium. My idea thing would be to add Crunchyroll/Funimation as apart of Premium tier.

But, I surely know that next time around I will take advantage of upgrading tiers as opposed to buying Extra right off bat. I believe if you buy the CDkeys 12 months sale around $30-40 around Black Friday, that equates to the Essential tier. So from there, I would wait until a month where they actually have Extra games that I'm interested in and then I will upgrade to Extra. That way, I'm saving money

Most sales are digital, so I'm generally happy to see it. Options are nice, but aren't free.

I never heard of collectors editions not having a physical copy before last year when they did the same thing with Gow Ragnarok and Horizon forbidden west. It's very anti consumer. They should just give a option for if you want disc or digital. Having a steel book but no physical game is very odd to.

I still fail to see the benefit for me to cloud stream a PS5 game on my PS5. OK I don't have to wait to download the actual game, but that feels like a stretch to call that an actual benefit/feature. And we all have seen the price you pay in overall fidelity.

I personally think the grand scheme is to eventually stream it with Project Q too. Now, they haven't confirm that we'll be able to stream it away from our home yet but you would think that will be part of their new premium services.

I'm under the impression (perhaps incorrectly) that I could own a game but not download it (saving space on the hard drive) and stream it instead. To each their own, but that would have value for me.

Sure, you could do that. You'd basically be using your PS5 as a streaming device for the PS store.

Fine by me, assuming it works well. No need to buy another hard drive, then. If the other features of Premium make the price worth it, then great.

Question I'm hoping someone can answer and I hope my question makes sense.

I had a save file that I uploaded to the cloud via in game on Tuesday. Today my son played the same game and saved his game to the cloud as well as overwriting it on the console storage. Is there any chance of me getting back the save file from Tuesday or does saved game data in the cloud get overwritten everytime a new save file is created?

Hope that makes sense and hoping for good news.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
