Yea It's going to add a whole new dimension to the game and also make my lunches and slow time at work way more fun. I've been testing it out with Madden and still need to play some more games to get use to it. I'll make a 2nd dynasty that I'm less attached to mostly just because of it. This is so much better then the old days when you could only recruit on a website.

The only thing with football (and sport games) on the Portal, is the meter. The input is almost never on point, lol.

I'm dumping PS+ when my current subscription ends next month.

I just don't get any use out of it any longer. My PS5 has been relegated to just using apps like YouTube TV, YouTube, and Max.

I probably won't bother subscribing again until EACF releases next summer, and even then, I'll probably go with the minimum tier.

I simply have no interest in video games at this time, and I really haven't for around 5 years. I'm getting my sports gaming fix on the tabletop from Strat-O-Matic and other similar games.

I'm happy they're adding more PS2 games but Sony is moving way too slow on them. We need like one BIG classic game from that era a month. They need to talk to all the big publishers and try to get some games in bulk or something and sort out the licensing/rights issues. I hate getting drip fed 1-2 old games that barely anyone played.

I don't pay for premium either I buy the PS2 games individually whenever I see something I want.

Well it is EA and it could be a buggy mess for the first 7 months so there's always a chance waiting until '26 would be a good move.

Come to think of it, I may wait until 26 or later to renew PS+ (for exactly the reasons you mentioned) but I'll buy 25. Even though I still have several friends from the NCAA Football days, I can't imagine this game doing anything but frustrating me with its lack of realism so I doubt I'll get the itch to play online.

NCAA Football used to mean everything to me, but I think the passage of time combined with the disaster that sports gaming has become has ruined me permanently.

Add to that, NIL, and the transfer portal, and I'm not all that interested in college football anymore either.

I should be beyond excited for this game (my name is in the credits for NCAA Football 12), and I'm just not.

I'm nowhere near the fan I was as a kid of CFB or the sport in grneral. The conference realignments, college sports moving closer to just being minor leagues I just don't have the interest or love anymore.

Initially when I heard they were bringing it back I had no interest and had long since given up on Madden. Maybe it's the hype that changed my mind but they seem to genuinely be making a solid effort for something great out the gate. Unless they really added something major for next year I probably could stick with '25 (assuming it's good) for years and be just fine.

And to your initial comment on ditching PS+ , I go back and forth on whether to keep it or not. I like the free games when they appeal to me but mostly they aren't games I'm interested in. With the way the industry is going though I think I'd rather just pay for the game and support the studios.

Surprised that the Lego Horizon game that's releasing on PS5, Switch, and PC, isn't releasing on PS4 as well. Unless it's one of them shotty Switch ports, if it can Plat well on Switch, then I don't see why leaving out PS4 makes sense since it's not a major scale game

Chill 2025 is gonna be the year of Playstation Games & honestly most of those games are gonna be on Playstation anyway the ones that won't I wasn't that impressed with let alone probably would not have bought anyway so no biggie.
