Maneater is your free ps5+ game for January. If you haven't played It yet then your in for a treat as its a fun single player game that even has a solid story. Its a simple game so sit back and turn on some music/ podcast and get the platinum trophy in about 15 hours. Basically your Jaws and you get to destroy everything It also has a upgrade system.

It’s a really good month for the free games. I’ve played all 3 and recommend them all.

So just played about 30 minutes of ManEater, I don't know how long it will hold my attention but it was fun opening but. I am pleasantly surprised to learn it has an actual story and a bit of depth (ocean pun)

any body pre-order from gamestop today gotten a confirmation email? just womder if it went through I check in as guest when I ordered it. It took my payment and everything. Money doesn't come out till its processed or ship so I just wonder if it went through if not I got to keep trying to order one lol

Really wish Sony would add cold storage for PS5 games on external HDD and also get the expansion slot working. Not crazy about the price but the size of the SSD is just too small. We need more storage space. Not sure what the hold up is in this.

So, is there a way to stop your PS5 from shutting off when the TV shuts off? I accidently bumped the power button on my remote in the middle of a game, and my system shut off with it. I cannot find a setting for it.

Is ARC enabled on your TV?

If so, try and disable it and see if that still happens. I don't know where that setting will be specifically... just try and look under Setup or General, or whatever it might be called on your TV.

Or better yet, if your PS5 is using the HDMI-ARC input, try and switch inputs and it should have the same effect.

I believe it’s called hdmi cec and you should be able to turn it off in the settings. Mine did the same thing and that fixed it.

Are they wireless? If so there is a workaround by either connecting them to the tv directly or buying this adapter that plugs into the PS5s usb slot and it connects to your Bluetooth headphones but I don’t know how bad audio lag would be for that.
