My wife was able to get me a PS5 for Christmas. It came with the headphones, camera, extra controller and Just Dance 2021(for the kids, my crippled *** could last 1 song. LOL) Im not doing this to brag, because I was completely shut out of buying one and so had she. Trina even told me that she was not able to find one. When she told me that, she had actually struck out. A few week before Christmas, she got a notification from one of the sites that help people buy PS5.

Everyone on the board was complaining that they can not get one, even though there was many available from Air Miles. They were saying who had 8000 AM points? Well, we have been collecting them for a while and were hoping to go on a trip with the kids. Since Covid has postponed our desire to travel, she used the points to get the PS5 package for me.

So, she basically got the PS5 for free. Which means she still wanted to buy something for me. So she bought me the top of the line Garmin golf watch with white background and black yardage and the green picture of the fairways and greens. It is glorious and I cant wait for the golf season to start.

So, if you have Air Mile points and don't have any plans to use them, maybe you can get a PS5 if they are still available and if not maybe they will have more in stock soon.

The PS5 I got for my work friend came in yesterday and they came to pick it up today. Her husband looked like a kid on Christmas who got exactly what he wanted lol. That's why I did it to make someone else's day. They offered a finders fee that I declined, I just got the kick out of helping them get something they were looking for

I almost feel like it won't be until next year before I get a PS5. My local target told me they have PS5s in the back but couldn't sell it to me.

This is part of the problem, these stores are only allowing purchase online...which allows more opportunities for these dumb bots.

It's beyond frustrating.

I just read Target is going to be discontinuing online purchases because of the BOTS. And only doing store restocks. Local Target doesn't know anything about this and said they aren't receiving them at the store. If you order online they deliver to your home. Walmart and Amazon have 2nd party sellers and Target does not. Seems to be a great deal of deceit and of course price gouging going on with no means to control it.

Hope ever one has a happy new year tonight! Pretty sold first full calendar year for ps5. Got 16 games so far. 11 physical in the follow games, Ratchet and clank, Ridders republic, Immortals, Nickelodeon brawl, Hot wheels, scarlet nexus, spiderman miles Morales, watch dogs legion, sackbay,super monkey ball banana mania, the pathless. Digitally I have solar ash, kena, FIST, NBA 2k22 and spiderman remaster. Cant wait for Horizon forbidden west in about a month and a half.

Mine arrived yesterday from the 12/13 Walmart drop. A few days early, though it still felt like forever. Finally have it all setup and my couple games downloaded, but now I have to find what other PS5 games are worth playing.

I haven't bought Madden or NHL in a long time so I've considered them. RE Village is another game I've eyed. Just glad to finally have the console after months of searching and trying.

I was able to get one of the GameStop bundles from yesterday’s drop. I had to drive an 1.5 hrs from my in-laws house but was thankful a store close to me had even received a drop because so far stores in Arkansas have not been a part of the drops and the other means (I.e. Amazon, Target, Best Buy) are like winning the lottery.

My PS5 controller suddenly got "mushy" buttons, hard to push and sticking. It was from one use to another and affected all buttons.

I did not spill anything on it nor abuse it by any means. Being under warranty I sent it into Sony and received it back in 11 days, all good to go.

Strangely, no documentation was shared with me as to what was done to the controller or if they just replaced the original controller. My first dealing with a repair by Playstation, I guess that's how it's done.

Yes its super expensive but its worth every penny the reports say & has tested & confirmed that The Sabrent Heatsink that replaces the default ps5 SSD cover also helps keep the ps5 alot cooler vs ones with just the heatsinks as the heat gets trapped by the default ssd cover

The Sabrent SSD air flows from the Sabrent SSD Heatsink that is the new SSD cover The air coming from the vents of the SSD cover keeps the ps5 remarkably cooler..

Plus the Write & Read Speeds are very good too Plus the Sabrent can get the maximum Storage allowed by Sony with its 4TB model which is the one I'm eyeing..

Just waiting for the price to drop some more & it will be mine..

Look into the Sabrent & watch the videos on it including the testing pretty remarkable.. once I have the $$$$ I'm nabbing it..

I have 172.3 GBs free, and I have the Twitch App, the YouTube App, Marvel's Avengers, Among Us, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Madden 22 installed.
