Re: PlayStation 5
Think that Metal Gear game could easily be 2025 (not that I care, have never really enjoyed the franchise but appreciate it's greatness), and disappointed no actual release date on Spider-Man, makes me wonder how easily it could slip to spring.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
I’ll be lowkey surprised if Metal Gear isn’t out by the end of 2024, especially when you consider that 2025 is probably the year we get GTA6 and we all know that game will have **** on lock when it drops.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: PlayStation 5
I still have a lot to play because of multiplatform games and also zelda id basically all i will be playing for a while and also enjoy VR 2 a lot waiting for my replacement one to come though after it stopped working on 5/8. But it's crazy that ever since God of war Ragnarok came out in October we have not had a release date for any Sony first party games and spiderman 2 the only one with a window. Sounds like it's been around 4 years since horizon multiplayer started being worked on yet didn't see that or fractions and also no ghost of Tsushima 2. There is probably like another 2-4 studios you would think have been working on something for multiple yearsComment

For what it's worth I just saw both Peter and MJ voice actors are going to be on summer game fest on June 10th or something. Maybe we get a release date than.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
Guess I should have investigated but this came as a shock. got the PS5 today set it up transferred everything from the PS4. Downloaded 2k21 and 2k23 tried to download RD2 get the not enough space message. So these two games around 30gb blew up the entire storage on the 5. So much for backwards compatibility. Used by other well over 600gb. Guess I'll play the old games on the 4 and add new games for the 5 as they come out. Sucks though.Comment

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
Yeah just put your PS4 games on an external drive. You can get a 1TB SSD externally for $109 pretty much daily. Some weeks it be down $89. I ended up putting a 2TB NVME inside my PS5 but still keep my PS4 games on the external 1TB SSD.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
Yeah I would do that but I have more than enough room on the shelf for the PS2 3 4 and 5. Just a matter of hitting input on the remote. Rather spend the money on a game.Comment

Naughty Dog with classic dropping bad news on a Friday afternoon before a holiday move. Another report from Bloomberg apparently says "significantly scaled down team".
The new single player experience line also is confusing does it mean LOU3 or a new IP ?Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: PlayStation 5
Interesting this was one of the many things people thought would be shown during the showcase and now it sounds like we are not going to see anything from it this year.

From Jeff Grubb
@JeffGrubb
All I've heard about this game is that it looks a lot like a studio's first live-service game, and that Naughty Dog wanted to do things its way, which maybe didn't bode well for Factions.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: PlayStation 5
Excluding PSVR 2 games, remasters/remakes and dlc/expansions, I got 5 out of the 25 games (20%) shown this past Wednesday. In order of hype -
1. Marvel's Spider Man 2
2. Assassin's Creed Mirage
3. Alan Wake 2
4. Final Fantasy XVI
5. Dragon's Dogma 2
As for next year, we know of a few games scheduled for 2024, Marvel's Wolverine, Rise of the Ronin, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (Square Enix) and if it's been delayed to next year, Stellar Blade. Three out of these four games make 2024 a very strong year.Comment
