I dont know.....if that was the case why did she need to look for electromagnetic anomolies to find the island.

Looks like Alex got a handful of Kate on accident there.

As far as the polar bear, the shark, and the bird, part of the Dharma Initiative dealt with zoology, probably experiments with animals. There are still sooooo many things that need to be explained that this show will definitely reach somewhere near the 7 seasons that the writers and ABC had hoped for.

I'm getting tired of this show, I was addicted to the first season but now there's just to much random stuff going on with no explanations to anything. They just keep bringing up more and more questions and never really answer any of the ones they have already presented. Maybe this will just end up being a bad season compared to what will come but right now I have a hard time getting excited to start a new season.
I think 24 has killed my ability to enjoy shows where there are bad and good guys. Unless Sayid storms the camp kills most of the others and tortures the rest of them for information I'll be very dissapointed with what happens between the crash survivors and the others.
Ultimately the point of the show is to find out what the hell is wrong with this island, and I really dont think we'll get a defininitive answer until the end of the series.

The more I think about the end of the finale, the less I think about the "explosion" and the more I think about Walt's inactivity. Did he even say a sentence?

Does..."DAD!" with his nostril flaring like usual count as a sentence?

And Alex is one lucky girl...

I think they have answered some questions. We know alot about the hatch. We now understand the light that came on when Locke was pounding on the door, we know what happened to the other half of the plane, we know why Kate was in custody on the plane etc. I agree that much is still unanswered, but if there were no questions, we wouldn't have much reason to tune in next season.

I used to like the X-Files, but that show never seemed to answer anything. IMO, LOST does a little better in this category.

Damn, I jumped the gun with that theory didn't I?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. As for the 2 guys searching for the magnetism. How do we know that that scene isn't a flashback and not a "live" scene? How do we know this didn't happen like 3 years ago when Desmond just got there? Who's to say that scene is running in sequence?

So, what storyline(s) do you guess think the writers will center around?

Also, I read today on a Lost forum where one of the posters had watched an interview with the actor who plays Michael and he said he won't be back until Season 4. I don't know if he's just saying **** or is actually serious. I guess we'll see. If they leave Michael and Walt's story in limbo for an entire season, that is going to suck.
