Re: What is the difference between HDTV and EDTV

Yes I know. I do know they are almost done with the new studio they are building to bring the channels to all HD. As of now it is just stretched SD content.

Re: What is the difference between HDTV and EDTV

It's a pretty good tv, but considere the other things you'll have to get like the service warranty, which is like 400 bucks at Best Buy. If you decide to get a good surge protector, which could run up to say 200 to the most down to oh maybe 25 bucks, etc..

Re: What is the difference between HDTV and EDTV

I also have comcast digital cable. Would I still need to spend alot of money on a tuner to get a hd signal for tv shows?

I think they have a deal where you could rent that equipment, or they give it to you one. Call them about it. Either way, I know you can't lose because it won't cost you much at all.
