Do you pay a monthly fee on top of the $1000?

On another note, any idea if VOOM will be getting HGTV and Food TV? I've been trying to sell the VOOM idea to the Mrs., but have been unsucessful because her two favorite channels are missing.

You know the new stuff always starts off really high. Give it awhile and they'll have deals just like with the HD reciever.

Voom hasn't given any news about the channels yet, but they will move to MPEG-4 this year, so expect something along with the HDTIVO (PVR) in the fall too!

wow...i just read thru this whole tread in one sitting...and i have a question

Any opinions on this TV?

its right at the edge of my price limit?

http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=...d=74890&m=0

I love it for the way it looks cosmetically...now i just need to know how it stands cosmetically.
Any better suggestions in the 2000 dollar range?
Thanks for the opinion guys

Seems to be a good tv. What kind of features do you want though? Make sure it has them. Sammy's are great tv's actually.
