Is it when you're watching regular television, movies, or games?

Is this inherent with the technology or something they can eliminate all together in the next line of XBRs?
It's not noticable at all really. I mean, I have to really look. I know right where it is but it's so tiny that no one else can ever pick it up.

It's from tubes, tubes just don't have perfect geometry.

I'd prefer it to be widescreen but I'm not sure if that makes sense at this small of a size. Also, what's the difference between HDTV and HDTV Monitor? I can get an HD box through Comcast so is it fine to get a Monitor since they seem to be somewhat less expensive?
I'd spend 200.00 more & get a good Sony CRT.. Sony makes the best CRTs period..

now i see where it says it broadcast images in 1080i, but it never talks about 720 anywhere. i have heard xbox 360 will show games in 720. does having 1080 automatcially mean it supports 720?

            thanks
No.. The TV must support the 720p res before it can upconvert the signal to 1080i..

That's a matter of opinion. Their high end XBR's are the best CRT's, but their lower end stuff is crap IMO.

Football and the Masters have impressed me the most in HiDef. Hockey looks great too. HiDef is educational too as I've never watched PBS and Discovery as much as I do now. Those nature shows look amazing. There was one show about Hawaii that made my jaw drop with the detail and vivid colors.

i bought my big *** panasonic 47 inch rear projection hd tv last year mainly for video games, and its dissapointing me in that respect(everything else is good) I was wondering what are the best hd tvs to buy for clear crisp picture. Part of the reason it looked so bad were since the image was so big jaggies are very very prevelent. Are the smaller tube tv's like the 30" widescreen samsungs really all that clearer and jaggy free?

CRT's still have the best picture quality IMO.

                                They definitely are.

However, I'll be buying a new set soon and don't think I would be happy with only a 34 incher. Right now I have a nice 32 inch Panasonic Tao, but hate the fact that I have to rearrange my whole room everytime I want to play a game. I gotta move a rug, slide a chair close to the tv, etc...

Ideally I just want to be able to play games from my couch, so I think I'm gonna look for a 42+ set (maybe DLP).
