Impressions of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Show Your Bones" after two quick listens:

I'm loving the album so far. It picks right up where "Fever To Tell" left off in terms of sound and lyrics. My favorite of 2006 so far.

I heard the DD directors cut would have really changed alot of people's opinion on that movie. It's supposed to be very good.

I just got back from blockbuster.

I picked up Outrun 2 for 10 bucks new on some 50% off deal they have going. I also rented The Godfather, Toca 3, Elizabethtown and The Island.

Ghostface Killah Fishscale...I bought this CD this morning after work for 6.99 at Best Buy. I have no idea why it sold for so less, whether it was Def Jam or Best Buy, but Im very satisfied with my purchase...so much better than the advance I had. The best songs I hadn't heard are "Dogs of War" and "Underwater".

I'm picking up this album tonight (hopefully) and I've heard nothing but great things about it. Can't wait to listen to it.

Circuit City was closed at 8PM tonight and Barnes and Noble didn't have the CD, so I'll see if Circuit City has Fishscale on Tuesday when I pick up the Flaming Lips new album.

I did pick up some CDs tonight though:
Derek Trucks Band - Songlines
Cat Power - The Greatest
Albert King - Born Under A Bad Sign

Circuit City was closed at 8PM tonight and Barnes and Noble didn't have the CD, so I'll see if Circuit City has Fishscale on Tuesday when I pick up the Flaming Lips new album.

I did pick up some CDs tonight though:

Probably a good call, Neko Case is somewhat similar to Cat Power so buying both at once isn't the best idea. And I still say get "Live From Mars" instead of the new Ben Harper, but it is your call.

And no thanks on paying, after "Tommy" i have paid for enough albums twice, don't need to do it anymore.

I'll probably pick up the Ben Harper albums up at the same time. If only his new album was only the second disc, then it'd be a no brainer.

Today I picked up:
Eagles of Death Metal - Death By Sexy
I recommend this album to anybody who enjoyed the first album and anybody who is a fan of Josh Homme's work. Fun, catchy, songs to dance to. This would be one hell of a party album.
