anyone have the dvd? ive rented season 4, 2, and 1, and the extras are decent. they really desearch their roles and into their parts and the story behind their characters. it really shows in their performance

For some reason, I thought tonight was the season finale until they showed scenes from next week's episode. The intensity of the episode and the montage at the end made it feel like a season finale too. I'm glad there's still one more episode...

That was one intense episode, wow! I can't wait for next week, 90 minutes and knowing this show, a lot will be wrapped up, but a lot won't. I literally couldn't sleep when it was over, I was so wound up over it.

maybe its just underrated and people havent caught on or, maybe its because theres not alot to talk about but how can a show like american idol or 24 reach 10+ pages and this only 5. People are missing out. I have yet to see 24 so i cant really judge that show, but imo, not alot can top this show. if anything it deserves more posts, matching that of the other shows.

regardless, the few dozen hardcore guys who have posted from the beginning can call themselves the orginial fans.

since the main shield forums folded up, there is not really a "place" to talk about the show that I know of. any body have any ideas?

Only place I know of is http://www.shieldfans.com/, and it closed up about 6 months ago. I used to be a regular there. I've been hardcore in The Shield since it premired on F/X a few years ago. From the very first episode I was hooked. I own all the DVD's and have watched each season at least 3 times. It's my favorite show of all time. I love 24, but to me, it doesn't touch the reality of The Shield, nor it's raw human emotion.

So is it pretty much a done deal that 2 more episodes end the shield forever? I've heard it's probably ending but my question is why? I've not heard any of the main actors are wanting to leave.

If you watched the previews, it clearly said "Season Finale," not "Series Finale." The Shield will definitely be back for at least one more season (loose definition of season). I have to say that the prospective finale of a series hasn't bothered me this much since Hill Street Blues went off the air.

question, why would corrine feel sorry for john after leaving them without any money for food, and basically treating her like crap.. I guess shes used to it, from vic from earlier seasons, but still.

I don't think Corrine gets it on with John, I think the previews are just leading you to believe that. I think she'll shoot him down.

It all comes to a head in 6 days. I have a feeling we're going to see one explosive 90 minutes.
