I was to. I was NOT expecting that to happen.

I've never been so hurt over a character's death since Tony Montana killed Manny on impulse. Very shocking.

It was sad to see that Lem had so much trust and respect for the team that he was willing to take the rap for everything. Then Shane just freaked out and acted on impulse. He could of at least ask him straight up if he was gonna rat them out. He should of knew he was'nt if he was willing to meet them.

This is just one of those moments where you wish you could rewind time and do it a diffrent way. Lem did'nt have to die.

I wasn't. I thought Shane was going to shoot him, though.

It is a sad, sad time in my television viewing life. I haven't gotten into a show this much since Twin Peaks left the air. At least I'll still have Battlestar Galactica.

Wow...I'm the only one that thinks that Shane did the right thing. I guess I've watched the Sopranos for too long but when there is a potential leak you have to plug it. Lem was a great guy but dont think for a second that Cavanugh wouldnt have continued put the screws to Lem until he broke. Shane had 2 kids on the way and a wife, so I think he felt he had a lot to lose. IMO, he was the only one thinking with his head instead of his heart.

I think He did the right thing in the scheme of what needed to be done. This also puts Teacher against Student for the finale of the series. I think we will finally see Vic pump a bullet between Shane's eyes. I also think that scene just got Shane mucho work after this series is done... He never really showed he could be a serious dramatically inclined actor in the series, never really had to.

Nobody on TV has more conveying eyes than Chiklis... That whole him seeing Lem and not saying a word thing... It was STILL one of the most emotionally driving scenes I have ever seen, and he didn't say a word.

I don't condemn Shane for doing what he did. I would have preferred a nonviolent resolution, Lem should have gone to Mexico instead of revealing his part in the money train robbery. He was the weakest link in the chain.

I agree, Aholbert....I mean that was one of the most powerful scenes I've ever seen on TV....Shane's breakdown and then Vic standing there, looking, speechless.

Going to be a long wait...but FX is showing every season in a row....so I can catch up. I was affected by last night's scene, and I've only seen season 1 and this one.

Well, this is'nt was'nt the mob, you expect good freinds to kill eachother. These were cops and real close friends at that. As much as the team came up with plans to help eachother, I would of thought that they would of at least came up with a Plan B. Plus Lem was the innocent bystander in all of this. He did the least dirt but was the one with his balls next to the fan. He did'nt deserve to die. Someone else should of stepped up and took his place.

Anyway, I did want Lem to die when he burned up the Money Train loot.

I think Shane was totally wrong in what he did, but Lem should have chosen Mexico.

Someone did step up... Vic told Becca to cut a deal and give him up as long as the others went scott free. Kavanaugh wanted Lem to have a trading piece for Vic.

Yea, Chiklis's eyes are the truth. I still keep thinking of him tryna touch Lem in the car before Dutch stopped him. That showed real, raw unspoken emotion. You felt for him during that part.

Maybe they werent mobbed up but they werent too far from it. Ive watched all 5 of the seasons and here is the Strike Team's criminal checklist: Money Laundering, Drug Dealing, Murder and Armed Robbery. Those are the same things found in most mob families. Just because they have a badge doesnt make them any different.

As for someone stepping up, I dont think it was in the character of anyone in the crew to do that. Lem was the one who got caught w/ the Heroin. Lem was the one who got sloppy and went to check on the kid in the trailer when he was on the run and should have stayed out of sight. Lem was the one who blabbed about the money train. He has always been a weak link and likely to rat.

I like Lem's character and I was sad to see him go but I knew he wasnt long for this world after he blabbed about the money train. I was just suprised it wasnt Vic who did it.

The final scene truly pushed me into hating Kavanaugh. Even though it got personal, I always saw Kavanaugh as a guy just trying to do his job. That comment at the end was so uncalled for. I so wanted Vic to put a bullet in his head. To blame Curtis's death on Vic pushed it much to far.

I might have missed something, but is it confirmed that Vic is Danny's baby daddy? I saw the hospital scene, but I don't remember the exact words being said.
I thought that Vic may have been the daddy and it was rather implied.

I wish that Vic would have beaten the crap out of Kavanaugh.

Hopefully Chiklis will change his mind. Hold on, he's Greek and I'm Greek. I'll invite him over for some lamb and oozo and I'll talk him into another season or two. LOL
