That is why it would be key that the last 8 episodes they have him show maturity and then wait another year a comeback with a spinoff show where he is running the crew.

I'm almost certain that this series will not end on a positive note. I don't mean the shows themselves, just that there won't be a positive outlook for the families.

i don't agree with you after hearing david chase say "everyone keeps saying they think this series will end with tony dead, in prison, and/or etc but sometimes the bad guys win and life goes on, and that may make people unhappy but that sometimes happens" and then he winked or whatever and said "SOMETIMES" as if to still make us wonder.

but from that comment it seems that he may go the other direction and give tony more power, more money or more of a sunny outlook than the way most ppl think he will go with it.

What I'm saying is they may end the series with the impression that AJ could be next in line.

I doubt AJ will even get close enough to sniff the family biz. Let alone getting his own show. The guy who plays AJ, Robert Iler, doesn't have a quarter of the amount of talent as an actor to pull it off.

I'm rewatching the earlier seasons of The Sopranos...and quickly was reminded of how good this show is...though I miss Richie Aprile...

I didn't think I could hate anyone as much as I hated Richie...and then Ralphie Cifaretto came along. That episode with him and the dancer at the 'Bing was shocking!

I doubt that very little will be resolved in the next two episodes. I've thought this has been a pretty good season all the way around, but it seems like they've hung on to and dragged out some of the more mundane storylines.

i agree 100% almost like they dont want to get anything too crazy going and are waiting for something. watching the shows i do get the feeling that all roads are leading somewhere but i just dont forsee where they are going. its weird that theres like 2 episodes left, and christopher has been in like only 2 episodes with serious screen time. the one 2 weeks ago and 1 more in the beginning. its also weird that something as serious as him using drugs again happens so close to the end of the season and theres no followup on the next episode which was last week. they only showed his car being repossessed.

That was certainly a turning point in my regard for the Ralphie character, but he was certainly more likeable than Ritchie.

I think you may be surprised. I think Phil's future is starting to look a little cloudy right now.

Phil seems poised to become the NY Boss.... Johnny Sack is persona non grata after flipping for the Feds.... I think Tony liked dealing with John better... I believe Phil will use his power to square his personal accounts with the Jersey crew; he's still pissed about Tony stealing his opportunity to exact proper revenge on Tony B., and now he can't get to Vito... It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out... Plus I remember him making some kind of statement that the Jersey crew was going to be treated differently, with him in charge.

John Sacrimoni didn't flip, and after telling his lawyer that he's no rat his lawyer said "good, since I wouldn't represent you". What he DID do is confirm the existence of the Mafia or La Cosa Nostra...which is forbidden under "Omerta". That was why they were all pissed off. He didn't rat anybody, just confirmed what everyone already knew.

Didn't know about OMERTA, but researched it and what you say is true. I guess Johnny Sac was playing it half way. He would have been better off cooperating. Maybe Feech WILL try to get to Johnny in prison.
