oh man. me too. i will cheer WHEN that happens. Butchie has to go
Probably? He outright does? See, "asbestos" situation. Which is one of a few examples.

I think every fan wants Butchie dead. When that smug bastard bumped into Tony at the hospital, he was as good as dead from there on.

I think that's precisely why Carmine WON'T make a move to get Phil knocked off. He doesn't have the stomach for bloodshed. After his pops died, he proved he didn't have the taste for it. In the mob life, wars are bad for business, but sometimes also viewed as necessary. I remember in the Godfather when Clemenza told Mike "these things have to happen every once in awhile, to get rid of the bad blood".

When Carmine Sr. died, Johnny Sack made a quick move to show who was boss, by having someone whacked, and Little Carmine didn't want none of it.

Good read. Interesting how he says "letting go of the character has become more easy as Tony has become less likable.

            i agree

but Carmine doesnt really have to "make a move". All he has to do is quietly let the Jersey boys know where Phil can be found.

Wow, HBO really let their guard down to price em at that much. It's always amazed me at just how much more expensive the HBO series are as opposed to other series on television.

that's quite a mark down. Usually the HBO series are $99.

We're down to the final 36 hours (give or take). Can't wait for what will most certainly be a bittersweet moment!

I'm going all out with the Italian theme too, cooking up a batch of Sunday Gravy and braciole, polenta fries, an herb salad, and opening a bottle of good red wine.

I usually do the Italian theme too, getting take out from this great Italian restaurant up the road. But my mother is making smothered pork chops tomorrow, and there's now way I can forsake that.

That Sopranos cook book was a surprisingly good deal (my wife rolled her eyes when I brought it home). Their pizza dough is particularly good.

The stuff I'm making though is my own altered creation...more "inspired" from various Italian cookbooks (the polenta fries are a blatant rip from an overpriced joint in town, though).

I will say, it's much more satisfying cooking stuff up by hand, and since I started making my own pasta sauce three years ago I can no longer stomach the jar crap. I'm sure the organic ingredients help as well!

I posted some stuff in that long forgotten recipe thread in the OS Neighborhood...a shame that no one posted in it.

That is a good deal. I'm getting the itch to pick these up since and found them at a used store for cheap. I don't have them on DVD and would love to watch the episodes again since the first 5 seasons aren't coming out on BD or HD-DVD anytime soon.
