Didn't know this was mentioned here, and you are completely right. He is just on another level, no one is close. The best part about all this is Joe is in a groove right now, Padded Room is coming out in Feb, and he drops some new stuff every know and then, he is flooding the streets with new **** constantly right now.

Best tracks on HH for me are:
        Just To Be Different
        Better Me
        Overkill
        Sidetracked
        Slaughterhouse

Those are my favorite, but I bump every single track except Touch and Go, which I've hated from when it dropped.

              Anyone heard of Funky DL?

If not, I'd recommend checking out - The Jazz That Was Forgotten. One of the better hiphop concept albums I've heard in a while. Great indie artist from the UK.

I've heard better albums this year for sure, but Royce built a winner with this one. It's completely different than any of his previous albums, meaning better beats specifically, and it even trumps the Bar Exams imo. As great as Royce is, it's tough to listen to him all day ya'know? His lyrics tend to dwell on the same stuff over and over, but I was pleased with some of the new approaches he took on it...

I like his T-Pain hook on "We Deep" because it contributes to a hard song... not that soft/club... she all on me... type ****.

Also, the beat on "Angel" is sick, and it sounds like Royce spits over a phone to his three friends. It sounds really, really tight.

Here is "Angel" produced by Carlos Broady.

eh, Q-Tip's album has tight lyricism... nothing unexpected there... but the whole vibe feels too laid back, for my taste at least. Obviously, that's Q-Tip's tip, but I guess that's why I've never been a huge fan of him in the first place.

I still recommend this, especially to anyone who loves Q or Tribe. The best song is the one produced by J Dilla... "Move". It samples the Jackson 5.

Can't decide whether or not to go see Murs, Big Pooh, Kidz in the Hall and some dude named Isaiah tonight at Cat's Cradle. I'm not a huge Murs fan, but I bet he has a pretty tight live show.

If you haven't or have listened to Murs for President... listen to it again with all attention focused to lyrics and an open mind. This dude is the truth. I can't wait til he comes to Denton.

Yeah I dont know how anyone cannot like Murs. The depth of his lyrics are in a class of their own.
