Re: fans of underground rap?
Best tracks on HH for me are:
Just To Be Different
Better Me
Overkill
Sidetracked
Slaughterhouse
Those are my favorite, but I bump every single track except Touch and Go, which I've hated from when it dropped.Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Anyone heard of Funky DL?
If not, I'd recommend checking out - The Jazz That Was Forgotten. One of the better hiphop concept albums I've heard in a while. Great indie artist from the UK.

Re: fans of underground rap?
I like his T-Pain hook on "We Deep" because it contributes to a hard song... not that soft/club... she all on me... type ****.
Also, the beat on "Angel" is sick, and it sounds like Royce spits over a phone to his three friends. It sounds really, really tight.
Here is "Angel" produced by Carlos Broady.Last edited by X*Cell; 11-03-2008, 03:28 PM.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
eh, Q-Tip's album has tight lyricism... nothing unexpected there... but the whole vibe feels too laid back, for my taste at least. Obviously, that's Q-Tip's tip, but I guess that's why I've never been a huge fan of him in the first place.
I still recommend this, especially to anyone who loves Q or Tribe. The best song is the one produced by J Dilla... "Move". It samples the Jackson 5.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Can't decide whether or not to go see Murs, Big Pooh, Kidz in the Hall and some dude named Isaiah tonight at Cat's Cradle. I'm not a huge Murs fan, but I bet he has a pretty tight live show.Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Yeah I dont know how anyone cannot like Murs. The depth of his lyrics are in a class of their own."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment
