Any of you guys read Jupiters Legacy? I have really been enjoying this one. Written by Mark Millar (Kick ***) and drawn by Frank Quietly (All Star Superman). Would like to see if any of you are reading it as well.

@Bullit: Sorry have not been reading Jupiter's Legacy.
I think Original Sin has been very good through the 0 and #1 issues. Mike Deodato is doing a fabulous job on the pencils...environments and characters look great and I love the dialogue. It's been one of my favorite books as of late and looking forward to the tie-ins.
I also really enjoy She-Hulk. The art is very different, and it has its critics. I like the simplicity of it and the stories have been very fun and well crafted; its a book I look forward to every week now.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
Yeah, Original Sin far exceeding my very low expectations already.
X-books have almost completely lost my interest. Hoping the DC events - which I never buy - are good. The future one, GL event and Doomsday.
Guy at my comic shop thinks dc is getting ready to pull the plug on the new 52 reboot. Not sure how that would work.

He's probably talking about the "The Future's End" story. I think that has Grifter going back in time to change events in the New 52 and return to Status Quo. Don't quote me on that, I remember reading so much on a CBR forum speculating about the new story line. I have issues 0 and 1 so I will read them and post thoughts.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
I just read all 10 parts of Battle of the Atom over the past 2 days. I had read a few parts last year, but was more into other books at the time. However, since I bought that Marvel OGN: No More Humans, decided I needed to read all parts of the Battle of the Atom since that OGN spins out of that story.
I enjoyed the Battle of the Atom story. I guess it didn't go over well with some because not enough happened, but I think that was by design to tell a larger story through the OGN. Will be reading that over the weekend.
Also - Still would like to trade digital codes w/ OSers. I have a bunch from this week, and have a digital code for the X-Men OGN too. If anyone has Age of Ultron codes 8-10 let me know and we can work out a deal.
Picked up the last issue of Forever Evil, will probably give that a read tomorrow night. Can't really say that I am too enthralled for it since it was delayed for so long and DC had stories coming out in other monthlies which took place after the FE event and talked about FE.
Lastly, Original Sin has been an awesome ride thus far. I really like what Marvel is doing there.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
- I happened to like Battle of the Atom myself. I didn't know the OGN No More Humans spins off out of that. I've still yet to read it as i'm trying catch up on other things so anything other than the weeklies have been on the back burner.
- Forever Evil "sigh". I'd have been a little more excited to read the final issue if DC had gotten their ducks in a row on this but since they didn't it'll be a very anti-climactic read. The one result of that event that I was most interested in has already been dealt with to an extent in the books that relate to it.
- Jason Aaron's other event Fear Itself also started off very good but petered out. It does look like Original Sin has more legs as a true cohesive story what with the "whodunnit" nature of the plot set up. It'll be interesting to see how this story goes.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Comic Book Fans....
Finally finished the second compendium of The Walking Dead. I'm surprised at how different it was from the show. People were acting like it was almost page for page what the show was and it wasn't.
I'm going I can hold off reading any more until the third compendium comes out next year.

Even with the delays, I still liked FE overall. Really interested to see if anything will come out of Batmans moment about Wonder Woman, or if it was just something they put out there.Last edited by AshamanCarnage; 05-23-2014, 05:24 PM.Comment
