No tie-ins this week, but there should be some next week. I can let you know Tuesday night if you would like. I actually work at a comic book store so I unpack books on Tuesday night for new comic day on Wed.

So I finally read Original Sin #3.....

That twist was totally unexpected. I'm not sure what to make of it but it has me wanting to read the next part so it did its job.

So many tie ins this week. This is the first Marvel event where I legitimately want to read every tie in they have.

The Deathlok story was great, the rest sucked. Mighty Avengers is awesome, really love the two tie-ins we've gotten with that title.

My inner OCD is coming out ...

I started reading Justice League Dark on the iPad. I decided to go ahead and start collecting the graphic novels. I ordered all three on Amazon and got a first print of Vols. 2-3 but a third print of Vol. 1. So now I'm trying to find a first print of that issue, but so far with no luck.

I've checked eBay. I also found a local comic shop and went in. He didn't have it but said he might be able to track one down for me.

Any other advice in tracking down a first print for this newb?

Check MYCOMICSHOP.COM this is my go to for hard to find and even out of print books. As I said earlier,I work in a comic book store and I have used this site to track down stuff for my customers.

I could probably get you a set of the individual books but I know I don't have the trade in stock right now. But I can check at the store tomorrow afternoon.

WOW sooo, New Avengers Annual #1. Amazing!


First - I just LOVE Marko Rudy's artwork. I was hooked on his work after Marvel Knights: Spider-Man, and now I will snatch up anything he does. The fact that this story was as awesome as the artwork makes this one of my favorite single issues in the Marvel NOW. The story introduces an interesting moral dilemma and delves deep into a character that I've never really given much thought to, but from this annual my interest is sparked. Must read, must buy. Go get it!

What are good crossover series they have up that are worth reading, how is the app on android tablets, what are some series to follow character wise

Dick Grayson is my favorite DC character. This was because of his transition from being Robin to his own badass identity, Nightwing, 30 years ago(Yikes!!)

Nightwing has been put on the shelf and he is now being turned into a super-spy

I hope he gets the Nightwing identity back someday, but for now I think that this will be an interesting path for the character. The first issue comes out tomorrow.

I'm not really looking forward to Grayson but it might be an interesting change of pace. I believe the main writer is a guy who's written spy novels so there's going to be some credibility there I think.

We'll see how it goes.
