Wow...so I'm in the minority, I liked the movie.

I don't think you are in the minority, but those that thought it was a really good movie just don't post about it. I for one thought it was really good.

It was okay. Certainly not worth 7.50 or whatever it cost to see it, though. Essentially, you watch Tom Hanks decipher a series of puzzles over the course of 2 and a half hours. He's really the only one in the movie, or theatre, that anything really makes sense to. If you've read the book, you will follow the movie slightly more efficiently, but you will still find parts of the movie that annoy you in how they were done.

Don't let the movie decide whether or not you are going to read the book. I won't go so far as to say the movie was a let down, but it certainly was lacking something the book provided.

A lot of what Langdon and Teabing's characters explained about the Priory of Sion, the Last Supper, the Knights Templar, and so on were explained in much greater detail. I felt like the movie tried to explain a lot of these points (except the Last Supper) too quickly and didn't allow the audience enough substance to see how everything tied together.

The book is much, much better than the movie, but if you want a servicable cliff notes version of it, then the movie will accomplish that.

Which is what bothered me about the movie. A lot of the small details that made the characters so much more enjoyable were skipped (not a real knock to the movie considering its impossible to put all of that information on the screen).

I enjoyed in the book how they explained the previous 3 murders Silas had committed before going to the Louve and killing Sophie's Grandfather. The movie barely brushes on this all citing that they were all in fact dead following the grandfathers' murder.

Also that weird ending with all the people, definately don't know why that got added in there. Anyone know why the original ending with her brother got cut out?

Looks like Angels & Demons may soon be in the works.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. As mentioned before, this book would make a much better movie than the Da Vinci Code. I thought it was a better story as well.

I feel the same way. The movie is a brief of the book. Having read the book helps to understand the movie. The movie was okay.

I think most everyone who's read Angels and Demons feels that way. I think it will be a much more "action packed" not a "boring" movie as some critics have called the DaVinci Code

I enjoyed the movie (saw it tonight) and I thought it was pretty good.

I guess you just have to let yourself go and follow the story.

He says, and I quote..."All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate" and says that the two main organizations that he talks about in the book are both true.

Believe.....this smells like some......BULL CRAP to me....I read the book and as a beliver in JESUS CHRIST.....I get a huge laugh from this garbage,but hey to each his/her own...for some who are not bible versed ,i can see how you can be persuaded to believe,or buy into some of this crap... .anyways....
