    Re: Transformers the movie

Went to see the movie last night. And as a huge fan of the 80's cartoon series let me say that I was highly impressed by this movie. What was strange is that my wife, who isn't a big Transformers fan, enjoyed the movie also.

I do hate the sliding scale of the toys, you have the vehicles for $10, the fancier ones for $20 (i.e. Starscream), and then $40 for the big daddy Optimus Prime.

It's interesting to see how the people who aren't fans really enjoyed the movie. When I go to the movies it's with my father. It's usually our bonding thing. Well after the movie he was singing the old Transformers theme song and was real pumped up. I found it to be a hoot that a guy that's almost 60 years old enjoyed the film so much!

We also talked about how when I was a kid i'd use to bug he and my mother to buy transformer toys and how every day when he came home from work i'd be watching the cartoon show.

don't waste your money on the crap transformers. try finding the old models on ebay. The figures they make now are nothing but plastic and it feels cheap. They used to have a little diecast metal back in the day. I bought my nephew Megatron for Christamas and thought i was going to break it since it was so flimsy.

                          Re: Transformers the movie

I went to see this movie again today because my wife hadn't seen it.

We sit in the back against the wall. Only a guy and a girl is back there with us, except against the far left wall.

We're watching the movie, and all of a sudden we hear the seat on our left side squeaking. Then it continued and continued. Brought us both out of our zone in the movie.

These two kids are on the side of us having sex in the movie, her sitting on top of him bouncing up and down, didn't care if the chair was squeaking or if we knew. We're in the same row, only a few seats away and these two are having it out

My wife couldn't keep her mind on the movie and wanted to say something to the both of them, disgusted the entire time, but im like, trying to ignore her because we paid money to see the movie not watch the show on the side of us.

Im just wondering though, what would you guys have done if you had seen that happening?

BTW,LOL@ all of you who said megatron turned into a gun....lol

I'd probably move my seat if possible.

Never been there, but that place looks massive when we drive by it on the 405, if it's the one I'm thinking of.

People who I would never expect to go see Transformers are going to/wanting to see this movie based on word-of-mouth. This movie is making BANK.
