Anyone going to catch this on IMAX? After watching Batman in IMAX, i pretty much have to watch every super hero in imax.

from the looks of things i think you need to buy your tickets from now almost every imax show in nyc is sold out

Unless it was stated earlier, official runtime is listed as 2 hours and 20 minutes. I expected maybe 2:30, but 2:20 should do. Hopefully there is still SOME dialogue within all of this action!

By the way, there hasn't been much said about Gwen Stacy. Will she play as large of a role in this movie as hoped?


I mean, think of what has to be fully developed in only 140 minutes:

- Peter and MJ
- Peter and GS
- Sandman
- Harry (is his name "Green Goblin" as well, or is it something else?)
- Venom
- Black Spidey [overall]


And anything else. Wow, I can't wait for this movie! I already can't wait for the Special Edition Uncut DVD!

Peter and Gwen won't be a big portion of the film... they don't really develop Gwen's character enough...

The film is very action packed! The premiere went down this past Monday in Queens!

Well actually I already know who dies or the lack thereof. I've seen the first nine minutes of the battle royale at the end. Venom gets screwed on screen time btw.

Tobey Maguire was on Howard Stern yesterday. It was a very entertaining interview. I'm a little bit surprised a big star like him would go on Stern and even take calls. I'm pretty sure he wasn't asked about salad tossing when he appeared on Letterman.

Outside of all the usual sex questions, he got asked who would win in a fight between Spiderman, Batman, and Superman. Of course Tobey said Spiderman would win. He said Batman wouldn't win because he doesn't have any super powers and Spiderman would just use Kryptonite against Superman.

He didn't rule out making Spiderman 4 and didn't disclose how much he got paid for the Spiderman films.

Yesterday on AOL.com there was an interview where Tobey Maguire and Topher Grace would take questions from the fans and ask them to each other, and one question for Tobey pretty much asked what it would take for him to return for a fourth installment. When you hear him answer, it's obvious that he's trying to dance around: A) Spoiling Spider-Man 3; B) Not wanting to return for a sequel.

And I'm happy if he doesn't want to return for a fourth one, espeically if this series is somewhat trilogy-bound. If not, then you could bet that they'll make a fourth, and then it would disappoint me that we'd see a new actor play Spider-Man.
