Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
Heh, nah. He's just my favorite character on the show...and I don't think it'd be worth watching if the entire thing was about Sawyer and Kate. They just can't carry the show alone, imo.Last edited by Beantown; 02-11-2007, 11:48 AM.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
There was an easter egg in this weeks episode.
UPDATE: Thanks to SciFi2U here is the Video with the Audio as well. If you like this then please take a second to "Digg" the article. Thank...
Thought you might like to try reversing the audio in the scene with Karl strapped to the chair in Room 23. There is a backwards message in the first half of the film (this is a technique called "backmasking"). It's a woman repeating the phrase "Only fools are enslaved by time and space".Comment

I like the idea that the flashbacks we see are the Others viewing them.
I'd welcome almost any reason for the flashbacks (from the producers). It is an important part of the show and it would seem very Abrams-like to have an underlying meaning behind us getting to know everyone's path. Perhaps, we are seeing what the Others, or some other organization - DHARMA? - are seeing.
Not going to put too much time into it, but it's fascinating to me."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Finally got to watch the episode.
Great episode, in my opinion.
And Jack leaving this show...would honestly make me not want to watch the final two seasons - if he leaves this season, that is - because he is without a doubt my favorite character, and really the center of the show - as much as some people may not like it.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
It really all depends in they actually develop anyone other than Jack/Kate/Sawyer or Locke this season. Desmond's really going to be an X-factor this season. He could either be really good, or could just be a corny-character that really isn't capturing. We'll see.Comment

I think that if they push Desmond, he can really be a very good character as he is one of the keys of the island.Comment

If you wanna see something weird... type in the Lost numbers as coordinates on Google Earth and it comes up as a spot between Austrailia and California....freaky stuff.
