I caught that the song Charlie was singing was "Wonderwall" but I didn't actually think about the lyrics. Things like this are what makes this show so great.

I'm enjoying this show more than 24, something I would never imagine myself saying.

Tonight was easily the craziest episode and I loved it, although kind of missed not cutting back to the island like they usually do on flashbacks.

How about scenes from next week?

Who was the girl Jack was talking too? I'm assuming she was one of the people on the plane that the Others stole? So confused but am intrigued to know next week some answers are going to be given...finally.

I'm somewhat torn on Lost anymore. On one hand it seems they just keep throwing more and more various theories and twilight zone type scenarios out week after week and it seems impossible it could all tie together. On the other hand I cannot think of any other show that could make me have the sort of inner, utter fear that I felt tonight when the woman in the shop said Desmond wasn't "supposed to buy the ring".

This has always been something in the back of my mind that is possible, probably from a lot of sci-fi movies, the idea that our fate is not in our hands, that everyone in our realm are there to guide you through your life to whatever your destiny is, whether it's having construction collapse upon you or being hit by a cab or going to a beach to turn a key. The entire thought of this being possible chills me to the bone and is completely terrifying.

So yeah even though Lost is a complete jumbled mess overall, it still holds enough intelligence and insight into life and what it's all about that compels me to continue watching. And i'm not even sure I want so many answers like a lot of people do, just a bit more continuity and consistency.

As for the episode, wow. That's some crazy ish. Looks like next week we get more answers. I think the writers were really starting to get some pressure from the critics and are speeding things up for the discoveries/explanations.
