Strictly my opinion, but for my money best drama on TV. Since I like it so much, that pretty much dooms it to an early cancellation.

There are so many storylines already, and the show is only, what, five episodes old?

1. Riggins and Lyla
2. Street's recovery
3. Saracen and the coach's daughter
4. Saracen's father in Iraq and grandma going nuts. I can almost see Saracen's father getting killed in action while his grandmother goes senile, and Saracen becomes the sole man of the house -- as a high school sophomore.
4. Voodoo
5. The investigation about Voodoo's eligibility
6. Buddy Geraty is going to do something corrupt
7. Tension between head coach and offensive coordinator
8. Tyra banging the entire world. I bet she becomes pregnant with that investment analyst's kid after last night's one-night stand.

So many angles. Such a GREAT show. I love how it tiptoes on the edge of becoming a soap but never tumbles over the line. A superb drama.

I hope this show is nominated for many Emmy Awards next spring because that could provide the attention that will lead to momentum and ratings success. I remember the first season of "The West Wing" was a moderate ratings success. But as soon as it was nominated for all of those Emmys after its first season, the show shot into the stratosphere of the ratings.

One can only hope the same thing happens here.

As far as I know, nothing has ever been mentioned about her.

I agree with everyone else, I absolutely love this show. I wasn't even going to watch it when I saw the ads for the pilot, but I started watching it and was so highly impressed, I got sucked in. It really does get better every week. I hope it stays around for at least several seasons.

Well, found some good news about the show. NBC ordered 9 more scripts so, hopefully that means it may stick it out for a full season at least.

I'm sorry, 90 to 95% of people in the world would probably do the same thing. She is still trying to stay with him though... so give her some credit.

I doubt that high of a percentage, shes cheating on a guy who is paralyzed who has done nothing wrong.

The best thing she could have done was broke up with him and atleast told him.

another good show tonight. it wasn't at the level of last week, but another solid effort. The Tyra stuff in the hotel room was a little stupid for me, but not enough to kill the show. Of course, she is going to be pregnant of have the full blown AIDS or something. She'll probably be pregnant and she will say that it's Riggins' kid or something like that.

I would say that Street will recover enough to walk again if they let the show last long enough. Lila is dumb, but very good to look at. That whole deal doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't really understand the angle there. She screwing her man's best friend and guilts him to go see Street.

I would like to see more of the games instead of some of the stuff, but I enjoyed the football part too. It was good to see Smash stand up for Saracen, but why in the hack did Coach start Voodoo? He needs to grow a set and take control of his program. I would have fired the coordinator on the spot for his mouth.

I wish it was two hours. :y4:

she was Riggins' g/f, but they split. She also screwed Smash and his mom walked in and caught them.

Tonight was a good show, but their preview for next week looks like the best yet. I kinda wish they would have flashed the day of the week across the screen like they did in the pilot. I can't remember what happened but how come Smash and Riggs aren't at each others throats anymore? Was it because of Street?

I think it was more because they both disliked Voodoo.
