They have a DNA sample that was found on Jon Benet. I think it was a blood drop they found on her underware. They couldn't match it with anyone. I don't think her parents had anything to do with it. They are creepy, but they were cleared of any wrong doing.

yeah, but the truth would you dress your little girl to make her look older. I mean make up at that age give me a break! I think any parent that puts their kids though these beauty pageant have so issue!

I really wish this case would just go away. It's annoying how many little girls are killed all the time - but this girl was made out to be some special case just because she did some stupid talent shows.

Cases can be closed but if new evidence or strong tips that lead to new evidence can re-open cases. It's kind've rare but it happens often enough. A&E did a show called Cold Case Files. I don't know if they still air it but I always find it interesting how cases from 20-30 years ago can be solved quite quickly when new evidence arises.

That's what happens when the victims are rich. I hate to say it but rich people get preferrential treatment most of the time.

While I agree with you on how much I hate that some cases get so much media attention and others don't, I can't really say I wish this case would just go away. If it goes away we never find the killer, and now it looks like we have.

If some one did that to my kid. I would kill them!!! If they ever found out who did it. I would kill them!!!! I could care less going to Prison for live! That is just not right.

Yeah there is no way I could sit in the same courtroom with a person who had done this to someone in my family. I think I'd be one of those people you see on the news that jumps over the railing trying to get to the guy.

If I had a son or daughter that was killed in that way let's just say i'd have to have a police escort because i'd go after the "alleged killer". I'm not a violent man but certain things can set me off.

That would be one of them.

Yep, but I be like that parent that stood by the pay phone and when the guy was being escorted to the Courtroom they shot him!

I used to be 100% convinced it was the parents like most of you are but after watching some Dateline NBC's and reading more on the case I think what happened is someone else killed her and then when the parents found her they tried to cover up the way she died in a sense she was probably positioned in a provocative matter, etc. Most of the suspicion on the parents has been due to the issues surrounding how her body was found, etc, not the actual murder itself.

The fact that there was a window to the basement where she was found that had been tampered with and was clearly big enough to get in by a large adult male alone was one thing that never made it into the headlines much but to me was a major part of the case.
