I loved Seinfeld, it's definately better than Friends.

But one GREAT sitcom around that time that never gets respect is The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

Will may be one of the best characters in the history of sitcoms. He was so charasmatic and there really wasn't a way that you could not like him or watch him. Just a great group of characters on that show with great chemistry. They could make a show about nothing great or put on a show with a serious tone and pull it off.

"Seinfeld," by a mile. "Seinfeld" was comic genius, a show that was truly creative and funny. "Friends" was slapstick bullsh*t, not funny at all.

Put it this way: No one watched "Seinfeld" because the actors were hot, because they weren't. People watched it because of its comic brilliance.

Many people watched "Friends" because the actors were hot, both genders. Come on, guys: Put ugly chicks in the roles of Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow. Would you have watched? Of course not, because the show really wasn't funny.

"Seinfeld" will be remembered as a cultural phenomenon 30 years from now. "Friends" will be remembered as a hit TV show 30 years from now.

Big difference. 'Nuff said.

Ill be honest, I never really watched Seinfeld, only because the time or two I tried I couldnt stomach it. The show might be pretty funny, I wouldnt know. I do know, Jerry Seinfeld is not. How people find that guy funny I will never understand. So, ill go with Friends.

Seinfeld easily. I liked Friends for awhile, but the Chandler-Monica romance took something away from the show. After 3 years of tuning out I did watch the last season.

Glad to see Seinfeld is crushing Friends in this poll.
I enjoyed the first couple seasons of Friends and then couldnt stand it. I loved and still love Seinfeld.

Seinfeld by far, even more as I got older and got all the puns that were in it. They all made much more sense.

Friends had it's funny moments, but Seinfeld was a riot cause every scenario people can relate.
