Re: Frank Miller's 300
I much rather see Ephihaltes get his. Damn traitor. Saw the movie again today... once again terrific movie.
In order to make a second one they would really have to change the historical part of it to make it interesting and I don't think they could follow up this performance.Comment

I would love to see a sequel which would pick up where they left off with the Greeks vs. the Persian Army.

That doesn't sound funny at all as matter a fact I would have been mad. I hate when people yell out stupid things. Sure as hell didn't pay my money to hear some teenage tool who thinks he is funny. glad you liked the movie thoe.-JoshComment

Re: Frank Miller's 300
I saw this on Saturday, and it was freakin' amazing.
After taking Western History last semester, it was really interesting to see all of these people that I had learned about. Xerxes can suck a ****.
Potential Spoiler
Why were the Persian messengers so surprised when they were about to get pushed into the well? I mean, Leonidus DID say they'd be held accountable for whatever message they were bringing...

Re: Frank Miller's 300
Completely overboard. It was like the messenger came in bullying them around with those skulls. He thought that it would show fear that he had a collection of other "King's" skulls as a trophy.Comment

Re: Frank Miller's 300
I just saw the History Channels special on this. And the "immortals" did where a cloth over their face, a thin one that still allowed them to see thru...and they had wicker shields. Why would you wear anything covering your eyes especially if it held no protection whatsoever...against the Spartans? These guys weren't to bright.Comment

Re: Frank Miller's 300
It is interesting to note though that none of this would have happened had the Athenians not burned down Sardis -- the cause of the Ionian revolt and eventually, the battle at Thermopylae. The Persians were quite good rulers, something the movie doesn't show.
As cool and great 300 is (and I love the movie), I hope people don't take the movie as history and actually take the time to learn about it.Comment

Re: Frank Miller's 300
By the way, this is probably way out there, but do you think that there will ever be a DVD box special with Sin City and 300 together? I mean, they're not the same story, don't have the same director... nothing like that. Plus, a sequel for Sin City is approaching. But I think that a lot of people would buy this set if they did that.
Again, that question was probably just way out there.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
