I plan on buying a MacBook, but wanted which one to buy. Memory is not really an issue...so it's between a MacBook and a MacBook Pro.

Is there a difference between the two besides the memory?

And I really want a black one! LOL

the Pro has backlit keys (very cool feature, they turn on and off automatically depending on the lighting where you are). And the Pro is a unibody meaning the entire thing is made with one piece of aluminum. Very well put together. I think the Pro is worth the extra $$ 200 IMO

Anyone have any experience with the Mac Minis?

I'm thinking the $800 model will be my next computer purchase, once my MacBook clunks out or I have the money to spend and I'm in my own place.

I've already got a great mouse and a nice monitor, so I would just need to nab a keyboard. So, I feel like spending $400 dollars less on a Mini than a similar iMac (basically just losing processor speed) would be a better buy for me. Plus it'll be so easy to transport that, if I needed to, I could set up a keyboard, mointor and mouse in two different places and just move the Mini to where I needed it.

I have a mini, it works great for what I use it for. Browsing, email, photos, music. I've done a little video editing and it's a little slow for that however.

Everything is encrypted and requires your master password to get in. It really does help against fraud on the internet. How many unique passwords do you have on the internet? Before 1password, I had like 3. Which means I was asking for someone to have access to everything. Now I have a unique password for every website, and I dont have to memorize it. Plus their iphone program allows me to carry those with me as well in case I need them on the road.

I've been using it for almost 2 years now, and I honestly couldn't go back.

Anyone use iDVD? I use a 24" iMac at work and have been trying to burn mp4's onto a DVD along with one of the title themes and everytime I get to encoding the second file the program crashes. I have over 250GB free

Been almost a week with this thing and I got to say, worth every penny. Got to thank my iPhone to this since it what got me started shifting over to Apple.
