Bought the new 13" Macbook Pro and it's the best laptop I have had. This is the first laptop where I didn't want to use a mouse. Love the track pad and all the gestures! Still learning some of them....

Same here. Just bought mine 2 weeks before they announced the Macbooks would become Macbook Pros. So I am now a Macbook Collector's Edition owner. lol

I can't imagine ever going back to regular laptops. All the things I can do with the multi-touch trackpad is great.

The changes are so minimal that it's nothing for me to be upset about. I could've gotten the "old" 15" Macbook Pro at a lower price though if I waited.

Sorry that what I meant, the Macbook. I really don't see a huge difference in the pro thats almost $300 more.

I have the Macbook and suites me fine. I did not really see the need for the extra cash for the MBP.

This really is the best laptop i have ever used. I don't think i will ever go back.

Also I recommend XP for boot camp. Great for games.

I am also in the market for a new PC. I bought a Dell insperion laptop for my wife about 14 months ago and it crashed the other day - Windows OS failure or hard drive failure, not sure which yet... Anyway - I am looking to get a Mac. I hear they do not have all of the bugs and garbage that goes on with Windows and Vista related issues. I am looking to spend no more than 3k on it - All I plant to use it for is wife's working from home laptop and family vid's/pics. That's it - (same as the Dell)...

Is there a good one I should target specifically? Any help is appreciated -

Man you can't go wrong with any of them to be honest. I've had Macs ever since I came to the conclusion that the Amiga's time has come and gone. NEVER had any problems with them.
