I am getting serious iMac envy. Currently I have a 2009 MBP 13" but I want a desk top. Im wondering what are the thoughts on the 21.5" iMacs in terms of gaming. Also isn't there suppose to be a refresh soon for the iMacs? Don't care about thunderbolt but would be worth the wait if they come with faster processors or better graphics cards.PSN - Briand23

If the graphics on the 15 inch MBP jumped up to 1GB of DDR5 memory, I can just imagine what the new iMacs will have. This could possibly be a gaming rig for some.Comment

Every external HD that was used on a PC that I tried to use on my Mac needed re-formatted. It depends on how it was formatted in the first place. Flash Drives work both ways with no issues, from my experiences, but external hard drives are a different monster.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeComment

I'm in the process of getting my first "real job," so I'm hoping to upgrade soon from my 6-year-old MacBook. It still does the job, but it's not up to par with current systems. Netflix and Hulu tend to bog down occasionally down when I stream video. I'm new to Netflix and Hulu never did this in the past. Plus, the cooling fan on this thing is almost always working really hard... it makes me nervous.
I think I'll get a Mac Mini. I've already got a screen and can pick up a keyboard and mouse. It's temping to get an iMac and use dual screens, but I don't want to put up that kind of money at this point. Plus, I can find a second screen for cheap (got lucky at Best Buy with the one I have) if I really want to go the dual-screen route... and of course I want to do that
