My iPhone XS Max 24 months was going to be up in September. Im paying $52 a month for it and my wifes was free.

I owed $416 on it and it traded in for $410, dumped installment on my bill. I upgraded (a ghost line on my account) to the 11 pro max 256gb and got $300 off via another trade in. I'm only paying $25 for that, so my bill lowered $27 bucks. Woo.

I'll be able to just sell this off in September and still get the 12's for my wife and I like we do every 2 years.

Just upgraded from my X and Apple Watch 3 to the 11 pro and Apple Watch 5. Camera is excellent.

So I came into possession of an iPhone XS Max. I really like it and it was literally free. But how I got it is not important, and yes it was perfectly legal.

Anyway, is the 11 that much better that I should upgrade to it and ad like a $50 installment plan onto my account.

I'm thinking it's not worth it now. Maybe just wait for the 12. What do you guys think?

I wouldn’t,I personally don’t t upgrade phones a year apart. The only reason I upgraded is I was able to sell my X for 700 bucks.

Wait until September and get the new one that comes out. I only made the switch recently because it lowered my bill and i can still get the new one in September.

First I don't go out and buy the most recent phone , it's just not in my budget. My last two iPhones , the 6 plus and my current 8 plus I'm having an issues with the charging port. My 6 plus eventually would no longer charge and now my 8 plus is doing the same thing. I have to mess around with the charge cord for 15 minutes to get it to connect. Also it's so bad I can no longer listen to music on my phone which I normally do all day at work. Kinda sucks.

Anyone else have this problem?

I may look elsewhere for my next phone.

EXACT thing happened to mine - and ultimately I had to just get another phone. I had to do the same - and I would have to use a large clip to hold the charge cord in the proper place just to get it to recognize. Got old - and I also couldn't use my vehicle GPS (carplay) - so I just decided to buy another one. BUT, I also get budgets. There is no fix for this - I've asked. The charge port is dying, and then you start bending and breaking cables. I love my new 11 and got the wireless charging station to sit it on overnight.

Pretty cool app if you have a newer iPhone where you can record from two lenses at the same time including the selfie cam.

So you can do a reaction to something you’re looking at. Or have a wide shot and close up shot at the same time.

UPDATE: On my charge port issue. A friend suggested that there may be something in the port keeping the cord from making a solid connection. So I took a paper clip and cleaned out the port , lint from my pocket and a good amount. Works fine now.

I actually did that a few months ago, it is hilarious to read.

Idk if it's nostalgia because I was 21 that year but I really miss that 2007-2009 period. I miss phones being simpler too, I actually traded in my iPhone for a Kyocera flip phone last year and lasted 6 months with it! It's just too hard to text people on a flip phone and that's how everyone communicates nowadays. Not to mention it's just really nice having a phone, music player, camera, and navigator all in one device...

I am an iPhone lover, for last 6 years, I am purchased every latest iPhone and using it. Currently, I own iPhone 11.
