Re: iPhone on June 29.
Yeah can't believe they left out iCal. Seems like it would have been a simple addition, considering ipods already can sync with it."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

As for the wi fi...
The answer is it runs off both, but will automatically switch to WiFi networks when in range, because you can obviously get better speeds off WiFi than the EDGE network.
and WiFi is notorious for draining battery.Comment

They have iCal. You just have to hook it up to sync with it. I want bluetooth to do that for me!

Re: iPhone on June 29.
But Steve Jobs believes that WiFi is the future, and thats much better than 3G anyway....
He is banking that free WiFi will be available in a lot of areas very very soon.
As far as missing features, I am not sure what you are talking about. It has a lot of things that most phones dont, and next week at WWDC, Apple is expected to release a SDK to allow any developer to create applications for it.Comment

Re: iPhone on June 29.
3G is definitely more wide spread as of right now.
Like I said it appears Jobs is banking on the fact that WiFi will be available sooner rather than later in a lot of areas.
If WiFi does become widespread, its a good call.
However, if it doesnt, expect iPhone 2.0 or 3.0 to bump it up to 3G, which obviously hurts those early adaptors.Comment
