There was a lot of grandstanding going on by the judge. He was irritated and took it out on Hilton. the dude was power tripping.

her sentence is ridiculous in the first place imo. yes, i know that violating parole for a reckless driving violation is wrong, but 45 days in jail is excessive imo. They are making an example out of her.

She also violated the terms of her probation twice, which stated that she could go to jail for 45 days if caught again, she showed up to court late, and she didn't accept responsibility for anything.

The sheriff broke the law in letting her be under house arrest. She broke probation, was under the influence, and wasn't she under a suspended license anyway?

I don't see how he was making her an example. She deserves every day of that 45 day sentence.

How people can think like this is beyond me. She violated her probation. Then, she arrived 10 minutes late to her probation violation hearing. You're telling me she deserves some sort of "2nd chance" after that?!?!

YOU try pulling some **** like that and 45 days in jail would be the least of your worries!

she was on a deferred judication probation for a misdemeanor. yes, she was stopped again while on deferred judication and then was 10 minutes late to her court hearing. wow what an evil B. they should just send her to gitmo and throw away the key. she's a menace to society.

ive never been on probation, but i have gotten a reckless driving ticket for throwing a bottle at another car and then driving 160 on the way to South Padre Island. it was a $500 dollar ticket. i certainly didnt get any kind of probation because of it. i didnt even get my license suspended and i live in Texas. If i wouldnt have shown up for my court date and paid my fine, i probably would have had another fine added onto it and a warrant issued but the warrant would have been rescinded after i paid my failure to appear fine (btw Paris appeared at her court hearing, she was just late).

Poor Paris...boo hoo!! Give me a friggin' break.

This is just all hilarious to me, you would think she's going to jail for 25 yrs. based on her over the top reaction and that of her family. I love it lol.

She got her charged dropped from DUI to reckless driving. She wasn't just driving fast, she was swerving on a street while drunk. Not only did she get a second chance, she got a third chance then got her sentence reduced despite showing up to court late and is still blaming it on other people.

what I did was probably more menacing to society than what Paris did. They didnt even make me spend a night in jail. They took me in but let me pay my fine and then let me go.
