One thing I didn't get about the monster was its size. When it ate HUD it seemed really tiny. And if it were HUGE how would it see tiny, chubby HUD and take the time to eat him and spit him out.

Does it make me gay if I turned to the girl I went with and said the Lily's shoes were a terrible choice to wear that night?

Well the first thing that it did when it came in the city was eat the people trying to run as Hud's crush told them. That entire scene was weird anyhow though. It just appeared, no sign of him, no footsteps nothing, no bombing, it wasnt trying to run away, just looking around like it was strolling along.

Wasn't that explosion a tank? I thought I saw a tank explode there or another hummer

LOL, good to know... like I said I was sitting in a dark hallway listening to the movie trying to get the spins under control. After the movie they told me what I just posted...

I'm heading back tomorrow armed with some meds. I really want to finish the movie this time.

umm, did you see it? Some of that camerawork was awful, first person perspective or not. Watching a movie and not know what is happening, along with the fact that they already left plenty of things unexplained is a bad combo.

Director Matt Reeves has stated that if they do a sequel, it might take place during the same monster attack, but seen from another camera.

I hope they do, this time I think they will have more than a $30mill budget. I really hope they have more TV News footage, I want to be able to tell more of what is going on then just one point of view

BTW, there were some scenes that completely disoriented you because of the camera work. No excuse for some of that.

I've seen it twice, and was never at one point even close to becoming disoriented. Perhaps when there are "shaky" moments, you guys may be trying too hard to pinpoint and focus on details or something while it's moving. I don't know... I just don't get these problems you guys are getting.

I thought the first person perspective was well done, the only part I wish was 3rd person was when the army is in that huge firefight.

I think this is partly what makes this a much different experience from most movies... the fact that things aren't always coincidentally there for the people of only normal capabilities in these 85 minutes that we watch. It makes it more realistic in a sense.

Just like I Am Legend, it's only told from one persective so we shouldn't know everything that's going on.
