I would agree. Here are some random thoughts:
It was just a way of explaining why Kate isn't in the Pokie right now. Its a little lame, I would think that they would have more evidence than her mother's statement to track her half way around the world to bring her back. Wasn't she involved in bank robbery and other shenanigans.
Good old Ben, living the American dream. Dude went from basically being an orphan living in a commune to multi-millionaire. This whole thing is starting to wreak. Dharma was a commune that would have no use for money, everything was provided. So Richards band of ageless wonders must have had serious connections on the outside. We would have to have serious flashbacks of Ben's teenage and twenties to fully understand how he ascended to this position of prominance.
Why was Claire able to have a baby on the island again? And they fear that everyone else would die if they tried it?
They made it a point to show that they were using Dharma food & supplies both at the beach and in the commune. Noone seems real concerned about rationing it, even at the commune where they intend to stay holed up, so are we to assume the Dharma airdrops are still happening? If there are airdrops happening and have happened in the past, someone knows how to get back and forth to the island. I think that the people on the helicoptor are most likely associated with Whidmore and they should have decent knowledge of how to get to and from the island as Whidmore funded Hanso. Once that giant electric magnet was destroyed by Desmon, it would seem that the island would be easier to locate from the outside by anyone as well.
