Just figured out that you can delete videos on the fly. Very cool, but I'm not quite sure why anyone would care about doing that.....

Any ideas?

Conserve space would be my guess. I just finished watching an ESPN video podcast and then it prompted me to delete it and I did. No point in keeping it on there eating up space when you won't watch it again.

What I find odd about it is if you have your settings to copy all podcasts, deleting it doesn't make sense as it will be synced next time you plug in your device.

I don't know... definitely puzzles me. I guess it's good for those that watch something then don't want it on their iPod again.

What podcast were you watching? I think I spent 5 mins wondering why the PTI one kept failing... and then realized it didn't fail; it was an audio podcast that downloaded amazingly quick.

LOL, I've done the same thing. Go into video and wonder why no video is showing, just audio and then after a few minutes, it occurs to me why, it's audio only. I was watching the espn fantasy football videocast. Also the pilot for K'Ville and the premiere of Prison Break are free on iTunes this week so I'll be watching those eventually.

Thanks for the heads up on album artwork everyone. iTunes found a bunch, and now I just have the tedious task of re-naming all my way improperly named older songs and then letting it find that artwork. Will be nice to finally have my music named/organized right, but ugh.

One question, if I re-name it in iTunes, will that still show up in the raw file names? Meaning if I got a new computer soon and wanted to change to that one with all my music I don't want to have to rename and look up albums again.

It should... it has worked for me as it saves the info in an ID3 tag, but don't take my word for it.

Just make sure you save your iTunes folder as is... you can copy it over then just look for iTunes.xml and all your changes will stay.

Finally decided to go with the iTouch...I was pondering iPhone just don't like AT&T (friends have other providers, and getting Verizon will be cheaper and let me talk for free to more friends). I've been reading about screen issues on some iTouches, not showing black very well, so I'm just going to hold off for a couple weeks until Apple addresses everything. iPod Classic would do nothing for me, don't have that much music, and the new Nano just looks weird to me, so that makes the iTouch an even easier decision.

Still like yours Pared? I realized that 16 GB's will be more than enough for my music and some movies, and the price isn't much more than what I paid for my Nano right when it came out.

I got my iPod Touch yesterday from the Apple Store. Played with it a lot yesterday. It is a beautiful little machine. Cover flow is smooth and nice to look at, videos look great on the big screen and I have not experienced much if any lag on Safari and YouTube applications. It has replaced and upgraded significantly my old MP3 Player and Son CLIE. I highly recommend it.

I'm afraid to take my Touch out of the house because I do not have a protective cover yet. That Griffin cover looks awesome, I hope it will be available soon.

lol my Touch is still in the plastic wrap. I haven't taken it out and won't until I get that case. I just use it with the wrapping on.

Corny as hell, but gives me ease of mind.

My g/f gave me her 5G iPod Video slip case and I just use that on top of the plastic. Works great.
