Re: Friday Night Lights Season 2
Good News and Bad News: Season 2 is officially over but the show could come back for a third season on cable:

I'd actually love if FNL was aired on The CW (TNT would be fine, as well), I think they'd be a good fit for the show, it would go well with Supernatural and Smallville. One condition though, is that NBC Universal needs to keep producing it, they've done a great job so far.
If the show ends up on E! or G4, I have a feeling things will go downhill fast.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

It's dead as we know it. I don't think it's going to much matter if anyone else picks it up. The quality will never be there unless a major network picks it up. RIP FNL.
It sucks, but not enough people watched it.NFL: Tennessee Titans
MLB: Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: Friday Night Lights Season 2
Both articles I've read say that NBC Universal (the current producers) would keep producing it, but it may (probably) air on a different network -- NBC owned or not.Comment

Re: Friday Night Lights Season 2
Fans of NBC's "Friday Night Lights" may get more chances to cheer on the Dillon Panthers.
The network is reportedly thisclose to locking down a deal with satellite service DirecTV to share the burden of producing the series -- which would mean that the show will return for a third season.
