I completely disagree. There have been some things that have annoyed me about FNL, but they were there in season one (Tyra's weekend with that oil contractor that did absolutely nothing to push forward any plots, for example). But on the whole, I think season two is as good, if not better than season one. If any of you have ever had kids, or brothers and sisters, you'll know how real the daycare storyline was. It doesn't matter if you've done it before, but most women feel like their heart is ripping apart when they have to say goodbye to the kid and go back to work. In fact, I would say that was the best episode since "Mudbowl." I loved how they showed the differing opinions on the issue of whether or not a woman should work while raising kids and Coach Mac McGill's ignorance. As for the whole race storyline, I think it's fantastic. That is exactly how a town like Dillon would react to a high-profile interracial relationship. It's terrible, but extremely realistic. Now the suspension could take away his scholarship and the playoff hopes of the panthers. Smash may have had good intentions, but there are ramifications when you don't walk away.
I like Breaking Bad a lot, but I don't think it even comes close to Friday Night Lights in terms of quality.Comment

Show was good tonight, and yea add me to the loooong list of people who despise Julie, sadly though that is a very accurate depiction of teenage girls her age. Interested to see where this whole Smash thing leads too, seems like he may become more of a leader now.Comment

The episode had a handful of good scenes.
Smash and Coach Taylor with the revocation notice.
Smash rallying the troops and breaking down.
Saracen and Taylor at his house.

We rented a school bus for my buddies bachelor party in October and accidentally left his cousin/groomsman at the first strip club we went to. He ended up getting a ride home from either a stripper or a waitress, I don't remember the whole story.Comment
