1) You said I was getting on your nerves. Perhaps not crying, but definitely a whining tone from your post.

2) I'm not saying they've lost their minds, but they may have false perceptions about what they are seeing because they are looking for aliens and may be psychologically seeing them in normal, everyday occurrences. They haven't been "abducted" they are usually seen from a distance or are UFOs, am I right? I don't think anyone has been close enough to shake an alien's hand or whatever they have...

3) I think if there was a legitimate alien sighting somewhere else in the world I would have heard about it. A lot of people would know about it. It wouldn't be some massive secret like it is now.

4) Yeah, I'm shooting it down with not much outside research because believing aliens are/have been here are like ghosts being real. I'm pretty sure there are studies that suggest the existence of ghosts, but I know there aren't any. Sometimes this "evidence" or "studies" don't necessarily mean something is fact, and I need something more concrete to persuade me.

It's like all those studies you hear about everyday on the news. Like where one day potato chips cause cancer, and the next day they prevent cancer. Which one is it?

5) You should respect my opinion because although I haven't used your source of "evidence," I still have very valid points that haven't been truly debunked. Maybe astronauts have seen stuff in space... doesn't prove anything. Maybe there have been "sightings" in other places of the world... doesn't prove they really saw aliens because we don't really know what was seen.

I don't know why this is getting personal with some of you. I assure you it isn't personal from my standpoint, but some of you guys apparently can't handle a differing point of view on a subject that has little to no concrete evidence about it.

Definitely not personal. You are entitled to your opinion. I understand where you are coming from. You want an in-your-face type of event like 9/11 in order to start believing. I'm not sure if that will ever happen.

Is it easy to discredit whether or not we are in full-blown contact with aliens?? Sure. But if you do the math: large universe+numerous sightings+credible people behind said sightings=aliens have to be out there.

Haha, I'm ignorant? I don't need to do tons of research to know that aliens aren't visiting Earth. We'd know about it. Period. We wouldn't be playing this game if this were true. Maybe when the aliens come you can convince them to make me a slave first since you believed in them.

Like I said before I'm not 100% sure if they are but someone or something has to pilot the thousands upon thousands of UFOs that have been seen and even walked up to. As for as the ignorant point here is a analogy. I'm a former high scool/college basketball player and if someone who hasn't even watched or played b-ball was trying to explain the game of basketball to me I wouldn't value his information. To each their own. You can't deny the existence of UFOs that is a fact.

Regarding your analogy, the difference here is that I do know some of this stuff, just because I'm not citing sources and taking the time to make a research paper out of a message board thread doesn't mean my information isn't valid. My information is valid, you are just attacking my credibility because I didn't spend 90 minutes watching a documentary that supports your side of it. I've heard those arguments already in some form, and while they may make you think a little, it hardly proves that aliens have been here, or even close to Earth.

Now, the statement that UFOs exist being fact, well thats true. If you are implying it is a fact that they exist in the context of being aliens, well I'm sorry but that is the most ignorant thing written in this thread. Especially since you've apparently done far more research.

UFOs DO exist, but if I threw a rock across your eyes so fast you didn't have time to recognize it, the rock would be considered a UFO. You can't identify it, it flew, and it's an object. Most UFOs have been confirmed to be things like new military planes. Just because we don't recognize it doesn't mean aliens brought it here.

Various TV documentaries, random articles over the internet. I don't know what you want from me. I'm not logging everything I've ever watched or read. This isn't even the same ballpark as you saying baseball sucks. I told you why I think what I think. Grow up man, I don't need to have a works cited page to give my opinion based on various random sources of information. Deal with it. You're just using this as a lame excuse to act like you are somehow more right than me, when the reality is that neither of us are right, and we probably won't know for sure in our lifetimes.

Most of what I'm saying is simply the general consensus in the scientific community. It's the fundamentals of the "science" of extraterrestrials. It's like knowing that momentum is mass*velocity in physics. You need a source for that one?

What exactly do you do for a living? Not for argument's sake, but I'm curious to know what you've done relating to this field.

LOL I know bout the rock thing just poking fun I'm video producer for living at small company in MO graduated from Lindenwood University college in dec 06. I went on a investigation two weeks ago with my brohter he is very active in UFO community considering he is only 21!! And we had 4 others with us one person being Ted Phillips google him he is well know physical trace case ufologist. The guy is great he has worked a lot with the legend Dr. J. Allen Hynek. This guys has seen a lot and researched a lot. History Channel had a whole documentary geared toward hime few months back. We are in the process of putting together our own doucmentary to try and get funding. As matter a fact my bro and some other ufologists went to a certain site last week and apparently they got a UFO on tape with three different cameras. The place where they went is has been a hot spot last 5 years or so. I haven't got a chance to see it yet but I will soon. I will try to upload it later today on the net.

I understand that you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, but the guys that are instantly debunking the whole UFO theory are just pulling opinions out of their arse without any kind of research while others and myself are stating clearly that we have been doing research for awhile now.

One guy in here was shooting down the FACT about astronauts coming forward when numerous links and videos in this same thread are there to see.

What I'm saying is don't come with a strong debunking opinion without any knowledge of the subject or WHEN YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANY RESEARCH FOR YOURSELF!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little skeptical myself sometimes. I always ask the question if there is an Air Force base somewhat nearby or major aircraft builder or distributor nearby when someone talks about UFO sightings.

And who says this only happens in the U.S.?? Do you habitually follow Russian TV? German TV? Austrailian TV? Do you get newscasts from all over the entire planet?? So how can you or anyone know what the UFO situation is possibly like from places other than the U.S.??

One of the biggest UFO sightings was in Rendlesham Forest/Bentwaters in Suffolk, England. Military officials were just on Larry King the other night stating what happened. What about former Governor Fife Symington coming forward.....that's right a former Governor....saying he saw, and I quote...." an alien spacecraft"??

Numerous respected former astronauts, high ranking military members, former commercial and military fighter pilots with impeccable service records have all come forward. Are you telling me all these people since the early '40's have lost their minds??

You're right, I should believe some college student at U of I(by the way I love U of I's football team, my wife went to college there) versus hundreds of beyond credible people.

If you ever have time watch the "Disclosure Project". Dr. Greer who headlined this was put on "shut down" by the U.S. Goverment for this video.

See if I had a brother that felt this way, I probably would feel the same way you do. Any ways good luck in trying to find aliens. If they are real it would be cool for one of them to do an interview. I never thought they were real, but you never they could be.

Others are just coming in here and are just trying to discredit with no knowledge or research under their belt and with one-liners to boot. At least say WHY you don't believe and back it up with some kind of intelligent thought process.

There are a number of reasons why we won't see an alien on 60 minutes or on TV. I'm not going to get into it, but one thing I can think of is, think of the religious ramifications if we had a 9/11 type of media event regarding aliens and other intelligent life from places other than Earth.

That quote that someone posted about proof not being enough is exactly right. If someone says that they saw something then they're crazy, if pilots say that they've seen it then it never happened.
