Definitely agree with that. She just got that look, can't explain it. It's like at the beginning of season four, when they got ol boy in the playground and she came off the swings. I was like, "****" girl damn near gave me chills.

I don't know if you guys already know this, but the actress, Felicia Pearson, was actually living the life she plays on The Wire. Sorry if this information is widespread.

She wrote a book about her life a couple years ago.

                Episode 8 was pretty good.

Episode 9 looks like it will be THE episode. Got damn I'm anxious.

Yeah I knew, they talked about it on one of those specials last year.

I knew that but I didn't know that she was discovered at a nightclub by the actor that plays Omar(Michael K. Williams). He recommended her to the show and the rest is history. I hope to see her and other "Wire Alumni" being fully utilized by HBO and others.

Only 2 episodes left, I'm really going to miss this show, this is the only HBO series I watched from the beginning. Do any of you guys think this show could be picked up by another network like showtime?

This show isnt being canceled so it wont be picked up by anyone. David Simon only wanted to do 5 seasons and so did HBO. He doesnt want to run the series into the ground

That's probably for the best, I'll miss it, time to cancel HBO.

David Simon said that they don't really have anything else to talk about. He said that there was something about Mexicans coming into Baltimore but they didn't really know much about it so they weren't going to make another season.

They really can't do another season. I wouldn't be surprised to see another Baltimore crime drama by him, but The Wire will be done. I mean, all of the season 1 bad guys are dead or doing life, and it looks like Marlo's crew isn't far from it, not to mention the 2 non-faction street characters wrapped up (Omar and Bubs)
