I personally have no clue, but I have to wonder if the population and physical size of the US vs. France and other European countries has something to do with it...just physically less hospitals, less people to treat, etc.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

That said, we may be last of 19 countries, but we're still better than the rest.Comment

Re: U.S. Dead Last in Healthcare ranking
I see Canada is slipping. This is mainly due to long wait times and the brain drain of good doctors and staff. Still, I'd take getting health care from a Canadian institution then a US one, unless the US one is one of the more world renowned clinics in a certain field (Mayo Clinic for example)
I do think the numbers are skewed as France does have a good infrastructure but they don't have nearly the demands as North America nor the crime related injuries and such that are more prevalent here.
Last but not least America has for YEARS taken too much of a corporate tact when it comes to health care. I don't like Hillary Clinton at all but I applaud her and other Democrats for at least offering a viable solution to some problems. It still baffles the hell out of me that the only superpower in the world doesn't have Universal Health Insurance.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: U.S. Dead Last in Healthcare ranking
Not to mention healthcare here is subjective to whether you have insurance or not, as it should be. If have a a socialized system then everyone getting average care is going to average out to show better than in a capitalistic system such as ours where those who are insured get great care and those who do not have insurance get average or below average care. That doesn't mean that you can look at the study and deduct that our health care is worse, it's just worse if you're uninsured.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
