And thats exactly why I wont be ordering on release day. If they offered 10.00 off for those of us that already have it on DVD then it wouldnt be an issue, otherwise Im going to wait until the price becomes a little more respectible.

I picked up Menace II Society (where my nick comes from btw) on Saturday on Blu-Ray. PQ is much better in most of the movie and the audio is phenomenal. I haven't delved into the extras yet though. Got it for $12 used.

I normally would agree with you but SPR is one of very few movies that gets bought by me on release day no matter what. Even at $28 (I'm sure it won't be difficult to find it for under $25) I have to hear this movie in DTS-MA ASAP. To me it will be almost like a religious experience. I love my audio. Thought Salvation was kinda crap but because of the audio it will be watched multiple times.

Other movies that I adore like Jaws and the original Star Wars trilogy I can actually wait for to get cheaper because I doubt the audio and video will be a major upgrade from the DVD just because of the age of the source material but for a demo disc like SPR and me being a war movie buff I have no patience to wait several months to save $5-$10. I would probably pay $40 for it.

It's probably my most anticipated Bluray ever when I got my new sound system and heard what lossless audio is capable of. I hear a great sounding Bluray and then SPR automatically comes to mind and how incredible the battle scenes will sound. May 4 can't come soon enough. They better not **** it up in any way.

That's awesome I just ordered a used copy of MW2 for 32 bucks after coupon. Now I will probably pick up some blurays during the next sale.

I picked up some animal planet special about jungle animals at ross for $7 the other day. I figured my son would watch it, but he was bored. It still looked pretty damn beautiful though haha.

Deepdiscount.com has the Emerald edition 3-disc Wizard of Oz blu ray for $13.99 and free shipping.

Canceled my Amazon order for the same blu ray at $16.49

Watched The Express (Ernie Davis story) on blu ray last night. Great movie and solid transfer. It is $7.99 on Amazon last time I checked.
