Yep. That's a hard title to find for less than $20 shipped at the moment. I watched it on netflix so I can wait til it drop to the $15 range.

Definitely on the "to buy" list.

RIP Target coupon. Your time here was too short. Me and my brother hit Target for about $80 with the little coupon that could.

I left all of my unused coupons (6 or so) in the blu ray section the last time I used them (2 days before expiration) and gave a few away to parent's that were buying kid blu rays.

Jennifer's Body is also $13 on Amazon. They price matched Target's sale this week.

FYI: The Amazon Gold box deal of the day is the Rocky series on blu ray for $38 shipped (Rocky 1-5 + Rocky Balboa)
            http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...nandscathed-20

            I jumped on that quick.

Thanks for the heads up on the Rocky deal. I looked on slickdeals.net today and completely missed this. Definitely going to pull the trigger on this.

If you're looking for blu rays you might want to check your local Walmart. Most have put together a $10 section (just picked up Speed Racer) along with quite a few $20 blu ray twin packs.

One Walmart by my place actually has them locked up in a cabinet like they do with video games and to top it off actually have them lined up like books on a shelf so you can't even see the price and it's next to impossible to flag a worker down to get them to open it, and if you do you then feel pressured to pick one out because they stand by you waiting. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

The news I've been waiting for is announced. The Karate Kid (I and II) is coming to blu ray in May.

The reason Walmart workers stand next to you after they opened a case for you is because of too many customers stuffing games, dvds and blu rays down their pants when they Walmart worker walks away.

I remember when I worked there, we averaged $2,000 worth of theft from dvds and games per a quarter. It got to the point now people don't even still the whole box anymore, they just pry open the box just enough to pull the disc out and put the empty box back on the shelf.

That is why they keep them locked up now.

But anyway I felt sorry for this guy when I went to Walmart last night. He just bought 2 HD DVDs from ebay and he was looking for a HD DVD player at Walmart. Associate said sir ummm we don't sell those players here at all.

He was so out of touch with the times he didn't even know Blu Ray won the format war over a year ago.

I can't believe this player didn't come with a HDMI cable. I happend to have one that's not being used.

I pretty much missed almost every movie of 2009 and anything that's been released this year so far. Rented District 9 and watched The Devil's Rejects that I didn't get to.

I guess Up is the best looking one of last year? What else is good?

Ouch...I still have my 360 HD-DVD player (dumb purchase, but oh well...seemed smart at the time) just in case I want to watch a DVD on the 360 (the HD drive is way quieter than the one in the system)

I get that but Blurays are pretty cheap now. The DVD section is pretty small there so if someone is gonna go to the trouble of unwrapping a case and taking those white stickers holding the case together (which is a pain in the butt to unwrap) I think a worker might see them by then and the regular DVD's were on display on shelves so Walmart doesn't seem bothered by theft from that.

The same problem would exist for Best Buy or any other store that sells Blurays but you don't see thme locking it up. It's a little bit of overkill since many Blurays are now a 3rd of the price of video games.
