A big one to look at perhaps is the Jurassic Park Ultimate Trilogy. You will be able to get all three films for under $17 shipping included. Not bad, although that only counts as one title.

I went with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, 50/50, 21 Jump Street, and Thor 3D for just over $40 shipped.

If you have a 3D display this is probably a good time to get some 3D movies (if they aren't already sold out)

Also, Vol. 1 of Espn 30 for 30 on DVD is $13 shipped after the discount.

I just received my Blu-rays, and I was wondering if the DVD for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is supposed to look like a ripped DVD with the title handwritten on it. In some ways it looks completely intentional, but I'm wondering if the previous owner just put this in him/herself.

I don't think it will matter either way, because I'm not too interested in the DVD obviously. Just wondering.

Ended up getting my copy of Real Steel for free. Gohastings.com had it listed as a used 2 disc set but only came with the blu ray. Refunded with no questions asked...told me not to worry about shipping it back.

Strange, I should have reported when a disc in a two-disc set was missing. I've had it happen on several orders, if I recall correctly. That, or the digital copy was already used, or something to that effect.

Yeah, I think its assumed PV titles will be just the blu ray. Used 2 or 3 disc sets should have everything included.

I picked up The Entity(1982) starring Barbara Hershey & Ron Silver about a women attacked by a ghost. The video and sound are an upgrade from dvd. Only thing is it's a barbones release not even a menu the movie just starts up and will loop back to the start when done. The dvd re-release has all the extra features. I already own the original dvd from a few years back with all the extras so it's no biggy for me. So anyone who has the dvd don't get rid of it or you'll have to buy the re-release dvd for the special features.

So how many Blu-ray and DVD movies/TV shows does everyone own? I've really added to my Blu-ray collection over the past few months. I've been upgrading the movies I already have on DVD and buying the Blu-rays of them. I actually enjoy collecting movies. I love looking for the good deals and buying them. Considering what the price of Blu-ray movies were when they first came out, it's really nice to find cheap deals these days on them. I plan on upgrading and filtering out the remaining DVD movies I have to Blu-ray when I can find decent prices on them. Some are also not out on Blu-ray yet too.
