It's cool though that Amazon is starting to carry more imports. The Japanese imports are expensive, but the UK ones aren't priced too bad ranging around $29 with some titles. I can't believe I am saying that. LOL!

I can't believe I didn't post this yesterday. Anyway, Best Buy has a sale for the Chick-flick 3-pack (Juno, 27 Dresses, The Devil Wears Prada) for $49.99. With my family and girl friends complaining I don't have enough of these in my collection and with my extreme like for Juno (and I really like The Devil Wears Prada also), this was a steal. 27 Dresses is only okay, but hey, cheap is cheap.

Not really in the same discussion, but also while I was there I got Seether's Disclaimer II album (20 songs plus bonus DVD) for $7.99. Also a steal if you haven't gotten that, or Disclaimer I before.

Funny you should mention that. Because of my girlfriend, I have Juno. And just traded for the Devil Wears Prada. Both were solid movies...not just chick flicks. I sold 27 Dresses on ebay.

Right before Christmas, I picked up a action 2pack on Amazon for $25 shipped. It was Jarhead and The Kingdom. Both were solid on HD-DVD.

I think I'm gonna pick up a Samsung HD-DVD/Blu Ray Combo player soon.

I've been reluctant to buy a Blu Ray player because the movies are still so damn expensive (30 bucks for the most part) and I have close to 100 HD DVDs in my library.

I saw the Samsung Combo player refurbished for as low as 280 bucks and a new one for as low as 450 on the net.

I think it's time to pull the trigger.

So last night, my family gathered around their 60 inch HD and my gift (a PS3) to watch some Dark Knight.

It might have been the most glorious thing that's ever graced that household.

Twas so amazing, I didn't even feel bad taking my first Christmas transactional loss. It was so big and powerful. My father, cousin, and aunt actually clapped. Granted, my autistic brother stated that he "couldn't tell the difference", but you can't please everyone (especially an autistic teenager who really wants to play the new Animal Crossing)

You won't regret it. The quality is great, plus the PIP'd interviews during the episodes make the set that much better.

I'm almost done selling all my HD-DVDs. I actually ordered Band of Brothers, Kung Fu Hustle and TDK off Amazon last week. I have TDK staring at me right now. BoB and Kung Fu Hustle haven't shipped yet, but Amazon was supposed to have gotten BoB in today (IIRC).

I actually snagged a Panny BMP-DP35k this morning off Amazon. I noticed the other day when I was checking the site that it had another shipment arriving the 26th. Before I could add it to my cart for back-order it was already gone. This morning I was lucky and got one which is suppose to be in on the 31st (gonna be a long wait). They didn't last long, though, thats for damn sure. Those things are selling like freakin' hot cakes.

I have a couple of giftcards and some cash I'm going to use towards some more blu-rays sometime next week.
