So I caved in and bought Transformers on Blu-ray. Went to Best Buy, price-matched its $29.99 price to $24.85 at Wal-Mart, used a $10 Reward Zone coupon, and will use the mail-in rebate to get $10 back. So I pretty much got it for five bucks, and I can't be happier.

Picture and sound quality are pretty amazing (especially use of rear speakers and low-frequency effects). I only wish I had a 120 Hz TV so the transformers don't have those missing frames while fighting.

There was one issue though, and it was the loading time in the beginning. It literally took no less than five minutes at the initial loading screen for the Blu-ray. Does anyone know what that is about or what I could do to fix it? I was thinking it may have to do with BD Live.

It might have to do with BD Live but the ones I have seen that have used Live usually has it as an option on the main menu so you have to choose it before it loads up and everytime I chose the Live option it has taken awhile to load up. So if you don't have it as an option on the menu then it might access BD Live automatically when you load the disc which would be pretty annoying.

You aren't missing any frames. LOL

Transformers looks God awful in 120hz. Everything looks so fake and phoney, I turned it off during that movie.

Most movies look like that imo. I like it, most of my friends think it just looks too weird.

Can't Hardly Wait 10 year edition on Blu-Ray today, along with Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I may have to pick up both of these. It's been a while since I purchased a movie, not a ton of great stuff has come out lately.

Anyone know if the Blu-Ray copy of Forgetting Sarah Marshall has all the extra content that the 3-Disc DVD copy has? I cant find any information on this anywhere. Secondly, is the Blu-Ray also Unrated? Amazon shows a photo that shows it as unrated but then down in the specifics it lists it as rated R. Thanks to anyone that can help.

So apparently you have to turn off your internet connection on your PS3 to view Iron Man, unless you want to wait for about 20 minutes for BD Live to load up. Just popped it in, ill post pics in a bit.

I just finished watching Iron Man, and it looks and sounds fantastic on Blu-Ray, took a few pictures.

Movie is worth the $28 price tag.
