Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
If Target is anywhere near Best Buy then just print off that add and take it into them as proof that they have it cheaper and they will price match it.Thanks for the responses, guys. Hopefully I can convince him to get a PS3 anyway.
Does anyone know of a store selling Cloverfield on Blu for less than $30? I went to Target.com and saw it was $20, so I rushed over to Target to buy it but found out it was an online deal only (because I'm sure shipping and tax takes care of the rest of the costs). I think Best Buy has it at $30 currently, but I want to find it somewhere at $25 or less.Comment

Exactly. Take advantage of your printer guys. Every Tuesday I search Target, Walmart, Circuit City and Fry's and whoever is the lowest bidder gets printed and taken to the Best Buy customer service desk for pricematch. Never had an issue.
Note though that Target.com is actually amazon.com, so if BB argues it is not Target when you bring a printout, I wouldn't really stand your ground. But, it would be very, very rare if they actually brought that point up.Comment

True but it only shows Amazon if you go through Amazon, if you go directly through Target.com you get the following link for 19.99....
Crap, just saw that it does reference Amazon on that page, well you could still print it out and with a little photoshop you could take out that Amazon info, or do something else so it isnt shown.
EDIT- Here is a better deal if you have a Walmart near you, they have it for 16.86 and you can easily print that out and take it into a Best Buy or Circuit City and price match.

For whoever is looking for Cloverfield. You can get it for $15.04 + tax at Sears if you PM Walmart's $16.86 price. Sears has a 110% PM policy= you get the lowest sale's price + 10% of the difference, which in this case is ~ $18 (Sears price is $34.99).Comment

I may try again tomorrow. If not, I have $10 on my Rewards card at Best Buy so I guess I can use that, but I'd rather not.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
That blows. I have only been "price matched owned" one time in my life and that was in LA right before the Rose Bowl. She punked me, bad. I was so pissed and wanted to run out of the store stomping my feet like a little kid screaming to everyone that Vince Young was going to get my revenge...
Regardless, I have either beat or matched Amazon's price every release day by printing out pages from whichever retailer wins.
I used Walmart this week for Batman Begins and last week for Gangs of New York. They are usually the one who wins.
If I could just get some mother****ing price love on the trials and tribulations of ex Ohio State QB/FBI Agent/Surfer extraordinaire Johnny Utah...Comment

Well I wish I could help you but I exhausted everything I could think of and couldnt find Point Break for anything less then 27.99 or so. I tried everything I could think of, Best Buy, Circuit City, Tower Video, Target, Walmart, Frys etc and couldnt find it anywhere for cheap, even ebay is high. That blows. Yeah, I counted on ebay but it was worse than the retailers.
I am going to hold out for a used copy on highdefdigest until I finish Batman, Gangs, Reign of Fire (rental), and Bank Job. If I don't have Bodie love by then, I am just going to cough up the $30 bones. I love that dumb movie.Comment

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
So I went to Best Buy to get this (Cloverfield) price-matched. They said they would, but they didn't have it in stock. So I only bought The Usual Suspects from there (price-matched at $20). Then I went to Sears... they had it, but said they didn't price-match Blu-ray movies and only electronics like TVs, etc. So I went back to Target, and unfortunately it was the same stupid idiot working in the electronics section, so I went to the front. The guy at the front sort of didn't know, but when he saw the price with tax was like $37 something, I think he just felt sorry for me and did it anyway. $18.75...
