For anyone looking for the Bluetooth remote for PS3, Wal-Mart has a package deal right now where you can get the Official Sony Remote Plus the Blu-Ray of Hancock for $29.99.

I was looking for a remote anyways, so this just sealed the deal.

Do you know if this is being discontinued? Amazon doesn't have any in stock other than the marketplace and my local Circuit City is out of them.

No, it just came out 2 months ago. It has been selling like crazy all over. I bet Best Buy has it for the same price, they had it on sale a few weeks ago.

I got my PS3 in July but still haven't bought a BluRay disc yet, just rented a few. I went to Circuit City today and their selection was awful, the guy in the store said most of the new releases had to be purchased online (and this wasn't a CC that was going out of business), is this standard stuff? I had a gift card there so I didn't bother going to Best Buy. I wanted to get The Dark Knight or No Country For Old Men - they had neither. Weak!

No it's not standard. Futureshop (Canadian store owned by Best Buy) has a TON of them,Wal-mart has a decent ammount and Blockbuster has a few.

Price matching owns. Bought Batman Begins for 19$ and some change including taxes at Best Buy.

A gift card is about the only reason I'd look for blu rays at Best Buy. Amazon.com almost always has better prices, no taxes and free shipping. Also, with the scratch resistant coating you can be reasonably confident that used blu rays will be in mint condition.

I have bought used or traded for over 80 blu rays and not one has been scratched. Usual price is $12-13. Iron Man is the only movie I've spent $16 on.

I have it, the PQ is good. If you owned or viewed the HD DVD, its the same exact transfer.

Well, I just listed all my HD-DVDs on half.com. I wonder how long it will take to sell them.

Anybody got a heads up as to when the following will be available on Bluray:

-Saving Private Ryan, my new sound system is foaming at the mouth waiting to play this movie with uncompressed sound. Please make it DTS-MA.
                            -Jaws
                            -Alien, Aliens
                            -original Star Wars trilogy
                            -Gladiator

Why are they making us wait so long? I get the Star Wars thing because Lucas is usually a dick about these things but the others?

SPR and Jaws might be a Speilberg thing.

Alien(s) and Gladiator actually have, what seems to be, blu-ray product place-holding pages on Amazon.
