I personally like Bach, Pachelbel, and Tchaikovsky at the moment. I tried to find background music that was soothing/relaxing to listen to while I studied and stubbled upon classical music. I'd heard it in elementary school and absolutely hated it. But yeah, lately I've grown to like it even when I'm not studying.

Re: Who here likes Classical Music?
I like movie scores that are classical (Gladiator, John Williams movies, etc). Mostly however I like the music that is meant to sound like that of the ancient mediterranean, such as rome or greece etc. It calms me down and relaxes me. I like the sounds of those instruments better than just the normal ones we have now, they seem a bit more exotic but still relaxing.Comment

Re: Who here likes Classical Music?
I do. I can't really name any favorite songs, but I like Johann Strauss, Bach, Mozart, and some others. I don't necessarily listen to classical music a whole lot, but I listen every now and then.
The movie 2001: A Space Odyssey got me into classical music.Comment

I have to bump this back up. I just found Caprice No. 24 played by Jascha Heifetz. Best classical song ever. The song is awesome and heifetz is the best violinist ever IMO

Re: Who here likes Classical Music?
Yeah man, we actually share the same last name. "Adam Dayton" i just an internet name I made up based upon my middle name and street, lol. On a side note, I've recently gotten into Pachabele's Cannon in D major after watching the wonderful movie "Ordinary People."
I also love the song "Variations" by Julian Webber, Andrew's brother-

Re: Who here likes Classical Music?
I need to get into more older classical stuff more, but I enjoy John Williams stuff...The Jurassic Park theme is one of my favorite.
I also like the West Wing theme (along with the title theme in The American President)...
Any advice on some good older style stuff? I think I prefer more orchestral, but would give others a try.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
